Ah Yoshi everyone's favorite little green Dinosaur that has been quite the regular in the series ever since the first SNES game namely Super Mario World.

And speaking of which his debut into North American animation is namely the Super Mario World animated series voiced by Andrew Sabiston. It might seem strange for him to be voiced by a guy but Andrew does do a fairly convincing cutesy higher voice so I am willing to give him credit for that. When it comes to Canadian Voice Talent Mr. Sabiston has been doing this for years but hasn't had that many roles at all let alone memorable ones. But still I would say that Yoshi in the SMW animated series is probably Andrews best work.

Now as for the games we have one of Nintendo's music composers Kazumi Totaka whom has been voicing Yoshi ever since Yoshi's story. Now normally we don't use Japanese Voice talent in BTVA's Voice compares since its kind of hard to understand Japanese audio clips but all things considered I think we can make an exception here. While Yoshi usually only says his name, Kazumi does do a lively performance for Yoshi's energetic personality with a very fitting voice.

So I must say both sides do definitely fit their respective roles for sure.
