EDITOR'S OPINIONWell folks today on the Street Fighter VC section for the first time ever a NPC (Non-playable character) Street Fighter character shall receive a VC today. And this time its Cammy's commanding officer in England's special forces by the name of Delta Red namely KEITH WOLFMAN! In the Street Fighter Animated series he was voiced by British Canadian actor Garry Chalk. Now before I tell you how I feel about Garry's performance I am sure your wondering "Wait wasn't he called Burke in that show?" Yes that would be true on how Keith did have a different name but before anyone cries out "Adaptation Decay!" keep in mind that his actual name was never actually mentioned in the games at all in which Capcom never really mentioned his and the other Delta Red member's names then (that is if they even had names then). Basically to make a long story short his official name is Keith Wolfman and like other things about the Street Fighter franchise is only in supplementary Japan-only material. Anyways as I was saying Garry Chalk was a very suitable casting choice as his voice has a suitable British accent and his performance is quite suitable for a calm and cool leader of a Special Forces unit. While its not one of Garry's best works its still a great example of his work nevertheless.
In Street Fighter IV he made a brief cameo appearance in Cammy's prologue as her briefs Cammy for her next mission and in this game he is voiced by JB Blanc. JB Blanc has a very good history of being trained as an actor in London England and it does show fairly well here. While Keith didn't have all that many lines in this game JB does give a good suitably British accented voice and his performance is also suitable for a firm serious leader. So even though like I said before on how this is only a brief role it is a fine example of JB Blanc's handiwork and of the voice work in this game. Overall to be honest I rather liked both performances as they were both rather suiting for this role indeed.
