Frankly, Mary takes it for me pretty easily. I like her voice and tone, like Spidey's no new threat. She's been in the business a while, and she's not intimidated in the least. I love Hale in general, but the accent doesn't do it for me. It feels a bit put on, and in moments like 'Get in the damn car', it slips. Nikki's good for her version, and I think could work for a merc, but as is isn't (pardon the pun) spectacular. Virgina's also good, but feels slightly lacking in energy. Mira's accent is worse than Hale's, and just feels cheesy all around. Ultimately,
1) Mary
2) Nikki
5) Furlan

I feel like she should have an accent so I'll vote for Hale

Mary isn't bad but feels a littlegeneric without the accent.
Still like Hale.

Having just watched the TAS episode "Unclaimed Legacy," I can honestly say that Furlan walks all over Hale's performance.

They're all good for their own versions, but Nikki Cox is the weakest of the bunch.

Jennifer Hale did it best, she got it down perfectly.

I think for this particular version of Sable, Nikki does her job well enough. But I agree with the masses, I say Jennifer is the best.

It's Jennifer Hale, no question about it.

Jennifer Hale provided the best uniqueness to her portrayal of Silver Sable....

and seriously, even though Sable's f***in hot in SSM and i'm a fan of the show, Nikki Cox's take wasn't really interesting to me....just generic

everyone else is meh

The only one I don't really like here is Mira.

Nikki is the best with Virginia & Jennifer are 2nd & 3rd.

Mira isn't Sable 2 me though she gets my respect for being the 1st 2 voice her.

Nikki was the best really with Virginia & Jennifer 2nd & 3rd.

Mira doesn't fit Sable 2 me really but she earns my respect for being the 1st 2 voice her.

I like Spectacular Spiderman a lot but I don't know why Cox's is leading, she wasn't that great.
Jennifer did the accent perfectly and sounded great for the character. The other two were alright, not too outstanding.
(I will say I like Spect's desgin for Sable)

@Music Meister Actually, what he's talking about is that when you click on "26 shout outs", it shows only three people, not 26. Not sure what the cause of that is.

I've seen that happen on a few places on this site, too, though nowhere near the same extreme.

@Music Meister

Albeit it's only by a couple of points at the moment, so it could change back, but if it makes you happy, Hale is currently in the lead.

Jennifer Hale as Silver Sable I think she's the best as Sable--the actual Sable. I didn't really care fo Spectacular Spider-Man's version of Sable and I don't buy Weisman's saying it didn't work her and Silvermane not to be related and it was a naural fit. I strongly disagree.

Not to mention saying, "How many silver types can we have running around without connecting them up?" doesn't help. Seriously, that part of his reasoning? Really, seeing as he was already using some Ultimate elements for the show, he easily could've based Sable on her more immoral Ultimate self.

He also said that Sable would become a mercenary like in the comics in later seasons, but the show was cancelled before that happened.
said at 10:36 AM on Wed Sep 7 2011
@D.A.V.E. I'd read that, too, but I still think it was an unnecessary change to make them related.
said at 2:54 PM on Mon Oct 10 2011
@Anicomicgeek And I don't buy that how they made her on the show is really a "pre-Classic" Sable. More like it's a INO Silver Sable.
said at 7:12 PM on Mon Apr 16 2012
@Anicomicgeek How can you judge that when we haven't seen more of her character. She could always get tired of being her father's henchwoman and use her weaponry to become a mercenary.
said at 12:36 AM on Tue Apr 17 2012
@D.A.V.E. I can judge what we have seen and what we have seen doesn't feel like even an early Silver Sable.
said at 2:06 AM on Mon May 14 2012
@Anicomicgeek Seconded. She just seemed to be made like that for a different universe and such, but still.
