Jeff Bennett sounds the best, so I'm voting for him. David Boat, Jim Cummings, Michael Beattie and Ryan Alolsio are good too. Michael J. Gough, John Stephenson and Daran Norris could improve their work.

Ryan is somewhat decent. He sounds like a young Shocker. U know like just starting out, I'm sure I read that Herman becomes Shocker part way through the game. So yeah, Ryan is Shocker in hin genesis days.

But my doesn't change because of that.

Ryan is too high, too whiny, and just all around unthreatening. My biggest issue with Shocker in the game is they try a little too hard to make him a little more realistic and thus he just seems forgettable

@Music Meister I assume they based it off the Ultimate version. In which Shocker is just that. Whiny and unthreatening. That being said, yeah he's pretty forgettable.

Even though I loved the Montana version of Shocker from SSM, it didn't exactly fit the comics version, whereas Jim Cummings's voice sounded just like how I imagine Herman Shultz sounding, so I guess I'll vote for him, but Steve Blum and Michael Beattie were really good too. Personally, I like Shocker better as the "evil but sane" type of villain, but I think David Boat's impression fits another Spider- villain, the Looter, better than Shocker.

John works extremely well in the role, especially coming from a show like that, and the vocal effects work pretty well for him as well, and while it does sound like a throwback to some of the 60s cartoon villains in superhero shows, it still works especially well. I don't know maybe I'm biast because I love John's work so much but I do think it is a great performance. 7.5/10

Jim is just fantastic in this role. this voice works well like many of Jims other voices for villains and it sounds very slimy and raspy which works very well for the characterization of the shocker in the 90s show, plus that laugh is just fantastic. 8.5/10

Daran sounds okay in the role but doesn't really have all that much to go off of and to be honest it sounds kind of like jsut a generic thug almost. Not much to it to leave all that much of an impression. 5/10

Michael sounds very deep and fitting in the role, and at a couple lines sounds almost like Tom F. Wilson. Not much to really say about the role, just a good performance form Beattie. 7/10

Brians voice works well I think in this role, but I really wish he was given more dialogue since I think the voice he used from what I heard sounds pretty good. 6.5/10

Jeff's Montana voice does sound kind of distracting in this role, but I got over it pretty quickly after a while, due to his great southern rasp in his voice which worked extremely well with this character. 8/10

Liam, Michael, Greg, and Steve all have almost nothing to go off of with this role and each just sounds like a generic thug voice like Daran so they don't really leave all that much of an impact. 5/10

David sounds pretty interesting in the role and sounds much more nasally which I think does fit, and I do think he worked well with the role, and wouldn't actually mind hearing him again in this role. 6/10

1. Jim
2. Jeff
3. John
4. Michael
5. Brian
6. David
7. Daran, Greg, Liam, Steve, Gough

I may be a fan of SSM, but Jeff Bennett is only suitable for Montana as Shocker and not the traditional one. To me, he's decent but he's not a traditional Shocker. Shocker is more of a evil badass to me, so my vote goes to Michael Beattie...with Daran Norris as second

Personally i think most of this guys are pretty decent, with one notable exeption

Keep in mind that shockers characterazacion range wildly depending on the adaptacion.Hes either potrayed as a slik and confident badass or a whiny wanabe villain.

Jim Cummings,Daran Norris and Michael Beattie all work really well as the badass shocker, while Liam O`Brien,Michael Gough,Steven Blum,Dave Boat and even Brian George work well as the loser shocker.

My least favorite would have to be Jeff Bennet, his voice just doesnt sound that badass to me,and that souther drawl is really of putting

As for Greg Cipes-TOTAL MISCAST!

Greg Cipes' Shocker does well as I'd accept of Greg Cipes Shocker to go. He's kinda a miscast, sounding too young, not deep enough and lacks a gruffness. Although hearing him makes me think he could do a Scott Menville impression.

I actually wonder, if David and Greg should have switched roles?
David's naturally gruff and deep voice would fit Shocker and Greg could have done a campy high raspy voice for Electro. Eh, maybe I'm wrong

My idea of the definitive Shocker is a mix between Michael Beattie and Daran Norris. Michael sounds perfectly like a cocky, bruiser thug, but Daran also takes his time with his lines more and makes Shocker sound a bit more evil, and in my eyes, that gives his Shocker a little more presence in that regard.

They're both very good, but I imagine Shocker to sound like Michael Beattie's voice and acting except with a slightly more psychotic and evil delivery on some of his lines like with Daran's. Therefore, I would almost tie the two, but at the end of the day I'm giving my vote to Michael Beattie.

5. Daran Norris - Naturally fits very well.
6. Brian George - A suitable voice for a loser villain.
7. Steve Blum - Average.
8. Michael Gough - Too light sounding, and the accent isn't very convincing.
9. Liam O' Brien - That's more like Molten Man's voice.
10. Dave Boat - The guy who voiced Lexaeus turned in THIS? He could've done so much better.

Not quite sure who to go with:

*Michael Beattie's was the first Shocker voice I heard and I still think it's a solid performance.

*Jim Cummings' cause ... it's Jim Cummings XD

*Jeff Bennett's; though to be fair, this version of Shocker is an amalgamation of two different characters. So anyone who has a problem with the accent take it up with Montana Max, the character Shocker was amalgamated with.

#1. Michael Beatte. Mike here sound slike he just wants to get the job done and be done with it. Like the Shocker of the comics, he's not really a super villain, but really a high level thug, and wants nothin' to do with heroes, but gets dragged into the hero fights.
#2. Daran Norris. Same reason why I chose Mike.
#3. Jim Cummings. He's a bit too sinister in Shocker's role, now I like villains being extremely sinister, but it does no fit the Shocker.
#4. I like Jeff Bennett, but he's not the best. The southern accent is killing it for me but he does the role well enough.

I actually really like Steven Blum as Shocker, he sounded tough and gruff but didn't go too far and still fit for how Shocker is just a thug.

I love Jim as an actor but he seems to be trying too hard with Shocker at times plus he sounds too evil, yes he is evil but Jim plays it too much.

And the most contraversal of the performances, Jeff Bennet's. Poeple complain how it's Montana in the costume and not shocker and that the accent doesn't fit while others thnk it brings more to the character but I agree with the first, it doesn't fit Shocker. Performance is okay but the accent and even the voice itself doesn't fit Shocker and it makes me wonder why he's in first place.

Daran Norris and Micheal Beattie stand out for me more the the others, both are good for thug voices but don't come off as generic. However, Daran has some odd devilvery on some lines and Micheal doesn't feel natural at times.

The others are okay, nothing really outstanding about them

Michael Beattie for Shocker. As with Silver Sable, I didn't care for Sepctacular combining Montana with Shocker. I know some people say that Herman Schlutz is a generic thug and Montana in more interesting, but I honestly don't see how. How? How is Montana any less of a generic thug than Schlutz? Really, the only thing that could possibly make Montana more interesting than Schultz is the fact he has a Southern accent ans Schultz doesn't. Otherwise, I don't see it, nor do I buy it.

It wasn't really that one was more interesting than the other. It was more about the fact that both Schultz were, more or less, the same type of person, and would have been redundant.

While I like Jim Cummings as Shocker, the character just wasn't very interesting in that show. Really Shocker is kind of a lame character with not alot of back story or depth, fortunately Spectacular Spider-Man fixed that by having Montana of the Enforcers become The Shocker, giving him a much needed personality.
