Well folks here is a rather large VC and this one shall be for this member of Spider Man's Rogues Gallery... SCORPION! Seeing on how this is a rather large Voice Compare I shall make this VC rather short so my favorites are Beau Weaver, Dee Bradley Baker, Fred Tatasciore and Jim Cummings. (While Carl Banas, Martin Landau and John Kassir were close.) The others were alright, Neil and Daran's acting was alright but their voices were a little too high (at least Martin made a better effort trying to make it work and I will give John a break since it works for the rather "alternate" take on Scorpion here). Michael was alright but a little generic, Richard was not bad but I could picture him doing a better voice for the role and was an okay alternative to Martin Landau. Overall while none of these performances are bad per say but I liked Beau Weaver, Dee Bradley Baker, Fred Tatasciore and Jim Cummings the most here.

Spisak isn't bad, I could see this voice working but with a more fitting design. The way the character is portrayed makes me feel like he's have a much deeper voice in comparison to what Spisak is going for.

@huzaifa_ahmed It does sound like him, but it's definitely not Dee. Besides, both Spiderman games on the PS1 had Dee Bradley Baker & Daran Norris carrying the whole cast of characters. In this case the voice director wanted to test their vocal range & they proved themselves to be quite good.

I didn't mind what US did with Scorpion, it was a nice different take on the character.
My only problem with Dante is he's putting on this forced deeper voice to him, I don't even mind the hammier delivery.

Eric could have taken what Dante did and improve it but he goes for a different take, gives a little accent and makes him calmer. I also like this take and I'm disappointed Eric didn't get more time as the character.

VC thoughts update

Carl Banas is my favorite here. He's just so hammy and entertaining yet he's also pretty intimidating at the right times.

Neil Ross feels like a precursor to Martin Landau's performance. He has a really nice high-pitched voice and a great slimy tone.

John Kassir fits the 2099 version quite well. I really like his bombastic delivery and the effects.

Eric Bauza is a pretty fitting choice. His performance fits this show's version quite nicely.

Dante Basco also fits the version of the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon nicely. He has a nice hammy delivery which I enjoy a lot.

I also like Martin Landau (that high-pitched scream and his laugh are always a joy to listen), Richard Moll, Daran Norris, Beau Weaver, Fred Tatasciore, Dee Bradley Baker and Jim Cummings in the role.

Michael McColl is unremarkable and his delivery sounds awkward at times.

An underrated Spiderman villain IMHO.

Here are my top 5 Favourite voices for Scorpion:

5. Michael McColl
4. Martin Landau
3. Dee Bradley Baker
2. Richard Moll
1. John Kassir

Future VA Suggestions:

I'm thinking Mark Meer wound be a solid fit. He has a solid vocal range which would fit both the feeble Marc Gargan and the vicious criminal he transforms into (his Vorcha voice would be excellent for Scorpion's more monstrous appearances).

I also think James Remar might be a good fit for Scorpion, with him doing a cross between his Vilgax and Two-Face voices.

Aside from those two, I also recommend Derek Stephen Prince, Daniel Southworth, Keith Ferguson and David Boat.

Scorpion may have had a lot of depictions over the years but I've found a lot of his depictions to be rather average. If the rumours are true, I'm hoping he gets to be one of the villains in the new MCU Spider-Man series. He deserves his time in the spotlight.

I've got to say My favourite voice here is actually Richard Moll. He has this kind of gruff, high pitched New Yorker that can also go really low and angry accent that just clicks with me. I feel he gives off the most character for a traditional version of Mac Gargan. I know he was basically hired to replace Martin Landau after he won the Oscar in 1994.

Martin Landau had a more hoarser sounding voice which fits a guy like Scorpion but I find his voice kinda too old for the character.

Carl Banas is pretty good, he's definitely having fun hamming it up.

Jim Cummings is pretty good, if he ever reprises I'd like him even more in the role.

Dee Bradley Baker's voice doesn't really leave much of an impression on me I'm afraid.

Daran Norris has some great range to do a high pitch and raspy voice but it can get kind of grating.

Neil Ross makes Scorpion sound like a total dork.

Fred Tatasciore, Beau Weaver and Michael McColl are really generic as Scorpion.

For the alternate versions that stray from the norm.

John Kassir is really great as the 2099 Scorpion, being a mutated monster, I love how insane and over the top he is. Definitely one of the best voices here.

Dante Basco is basically a Mortal Kombat rip-off and I feel his talents were wasted here.

Richard Moll definitely had my vote here.

BONUS: I could totally see a VA like Colin Murdock, Don Brown, Richard Epcar or Travis Willingham working well as Scorpion.

I feel like doing another Spider-Man villain. I'll keep this one short though. I'm really not a huge fan of most Scorpion voices. I feel like many of them just sound too high and weak, like Richar Moll, generic, like Fred, or starined and weird, like Daran or Martin. Even Dee doesn't sound that good too me. It just doesn't sound right to me. I don't know, he seems kind of high strung and it's not clicking woth me.

The only one I really like is John Kassir. For one, he's friggin terrifying. An excellent monster voice. Two, I find the tragic aspect of Scorpion more interesting when he's been turned into am actual monster instead of just being stuck in a suit. John gets my vote.

 4 Shout Outs!
1. Michael McColl: The clip used here is TERRIBLE, but Michael's voice in the game I feel is a great one for Scorpion. He sounds fittingly angry, vengeful, and pissed, which is understandable given his situation!

2. Dee Bradley Baker: A fitting successor to Michael as far as the movie games go: like with Michael he sounds fittingly vengeful and venomous, and the gruffness to his voice is a nice touch! A great change of pace for Mr. Baker as well.

3. Richard Moll: I have to admit, I'm a sucker for the accent he used. He made Scorpion sound very entertaining to listen to with that rugged, slimy thug voice.

4. Carl Banas: I have to admit, he's actually REALLY good! He's a tad hammy, but the aggressive, deep voice he uses is fantastic for the show's era and holds up really well today! I'd say it's among the best of the original cartoon's voices, if not THE best alongside Tom Harvey's Kingpin.

5. Fred Tatasciore: Another solid take on the Scorpion. I don't really have much to say here, it's a typical yet solid performance of Fred's that sounds deep and powerful without going into dumb brute territory.

6. Jim Cummings: It's a typical Jim Cummings voice, but it's hardly a bad thing as Jim's raspy and hissy voice is nice and fitting for the character. I wish he added a more personalized spin to it, but the take is solid nonetheless.

7.John Kassir: He does a great job for the Kron Stone incarnation of Scorpion, sounding terrifyingly monstrous and even a bit tragic. It's not my favorite take, but an all around solid performance nonetheless.

8. Dante Basco: Yes, this isn't Mac Gargan. And yes, Ultimate Spider-Man's Scorpion is a Scorpion homage who is more of an Iron Fist villain. Yet, Dante did great with what he had, delivering a solid performance as an arrogant martial artist.

9. Martin Landau: He's not my favorite voice for Scorpion and I feel that Richard was the superior 90's voice, but despite his low ranking I still think Martin was rather decent! I love the slithery, almost hissy voice he puts on, but his delivery is a tad awkward and forced at times. It's not perfect, but still a good voice that just needs a bit of polish.

10. Daran Norris: This is definitely not his best Spider-Man related voice, and definitely not a good Scorpion voice as it's way too raspy. However, should Daran voice a Ghoul/the Ghouls in a future Fallout game, this voice would be perfect. :p

11. Beau Weaver: People seem to like his voice, but I'm not a fan at all. I can tell what he was trying to do, but Beau made Scorpion sound like too much of a dumb brute, it's more of a Rhino voice rather than a Scorpion one.

12. Neil Ross: As much as I love ya Neil, your Scorpion sounds way too goofy and cheesy, even for the era the show was made.

Overall, I feel that Scorpion has had an all around solid set of voices over the years, with Daran, Beau, and Neil being the only stinkers in the role in my opinion. And even then, Daran and Beau's were hardly bad so much as they were miscast. For future reference, I'd say that Travis Willingham would be excellent casting for the Scorpion some day.

My vote goes to Dee Bradley Baker and Fred Tatatsciore-both fit scorpion pretty well,as a tough but not that bright thug

Jim Cummings, maybe a bit to soft spoken, however his voice i still quite fiting

John Kassir-holy ****! is he frightning, the 2099,mutated version of scorpion done greatly and it really shows Kassirs range. He should give a try at voicing Venom or Carnage

As for the rest

Martin Landau-thres a bit of nostalgia about hi perofrmence, but yes it didnt age well with time

Richard Moll-Neil Ross-both decent voie actors, but not one of their betetr work, both sound like a whiny, wannabe tough guy

Beu Weaver-i know Scorpion is not brightest of spidrmans rouges, but wevers way of speaking and that simpleton voice makes scorpion look like a brain dead moron

Michael McColl-bad audio quality

Dante Basco-i can handle the changes that were done to many spidey villiana in Ultimate spiderman, but this derailment went to far. This is not Scorpion, not Mac Gargan,he doesnt even have the costume, and still even for this version Bascos delivery is rather stiff and mostly a cheap and stereotypical depicion of arogant kung fu guy.Its shame because i know that Basco can do much better than that.

1.Dee Bradley Baker. The MOST fitting choice for Gargan I could think of. Works well for either sympathetic Gargan or savage Gargan. I'd say it's A+ casting right here.
2.Michael McColl. This fits the more crazy Gargan, where he's trying to get vengeance on JJ. It works well.
3.Fred Tatasciore. A nice voice for a more thuggish Gargan.
4.John Kassir. This is more like how I'd imagine Venom, but Kassir gets this high on the list because of his performance and delivery alone.

Let's just skip the rest and move on to the worst of the bunch.
Last Place goes to Dante Basco. Normally a very fine voice actor, but he just isn't Scorpion, this isn't Gargan, and it's nothing resembling Gargan, if anything it's more like Scorpion from Mortal Kombat. He's a ninja, wears yellow, and has a spear. Even then, it's a weak delivery for MK Scorpion as well.

1. Dee Bradley Baker - He gets the character down the most perfectly.
2. Michael McColl - I loved his voice and delivery for the character.
3. Fred Tatasciore - Does great for what he has. Another perfect fit.
4. Richard Moll - Could've gone gruffer, but the accent is perfect.
5. Jim Cummings - Nicely done, though he could use more of an accent.
6. Beau Weaver - Good voice, but VERY forced delivery. ("Ssssstomp on them and watch 'em tttttwtich!")
7. Martin Landau - His voice sounds forced and grating, as does his scream.
8. John Cassir - That's MUCH more Venom than it is Scoripon! I'm serious when I say he sounds almost identical to Hank Azaria's Venom!
9. Carl Banas - "A SPIDER!" From that line on, I knew he was just going to camp it up like mad.
10. Neil Ross - A very forgettable take on him. Neil's better as the Green Goblin.
11. Daran Norris - He wasn't even trying here. Just putting on a raspy character voice.
12. Dante Basco - Not Scorpion. It's the voice he should have used for General Iroh.

I like Richard Moll, Fred Tatasciore, and John Kassir the most. Moll gave Scorpion a nice slick-talking attitude, and was actually really entertaining to listen to. As usual, Fred does a great monstrous voice, and his performance here is no exception. But in the end, I'd have to go with John on this one; he sounded the most intimidating (even more so than Fred, which is quite ironic) and was the most realistic, like an actual scorpion (though that may have to do with his 2099 design being closer to one, as well as John's portrayal of that).

Daran Norris would be perfect, but his voice is way too high (probably just the added sfx/filter though), Michael McColl's acting is terrible, and Dee Baker sounds like a common thug; nothing stands out with his performance.

Gonna give it to Dee Bradley Baker here since his voice for Gargan suits how the character is, but doesn't overdo it, though Jim Cummings and Richard Moll aren't too bad, too. Michael McColl does well for how the first movie's tie-in game paranoid and crazy take on him.

That said, Jim Cummings as Scorpion is kind-of odd, given the second Marvel: Ultimate Alliance game also had Gargan as Venom.

Beau Weaver and Daran Norris both make their Scorpions sound like 80s cartoon villains, which is not something I think a lot of people want in games in the 2000s.

John Kassir did good as the monstrous Scorpion 2099.

Just when I thought MoA and Loeb couldn't get worse on USM... They do realize that they're working on a Spider-Man cartoon, right? Not a Mortal Kombat one?

Then again, USM wasn't really a Spider-Man cartoon to begin with. So much for the so-called "Marvel DNA"...
