EDITOR'S OPINION
Alright folks here is a large VC for a really large-sized member of Spider Man's Rogues Gallery... RHINO! Since this is a rather large one I shall keep this review short and I will say that most of these performances here are not bad. However I do think that John DiMaggio, Clancy Brown and Fred Tatasciore give out the best performances here for Rhino, the others for the most part did well but I admit I think that Steve Blum is the weakest one here. Don't get me wrong I of course do agree that he is normally a fine VA but his Rhino voice isn't rough enough and a bit too high in which to be blunt it felt like Blum was really miscast. Overall I was satisfied with most of the performances here but like I said before I did like John DiMaggio, Clancy Brown and Fred Tatasciore the most here.Pokejedservo

Clancy was a great casting choice on the shows part, and he gave a great performance. John was good for a video game adaptation, and I love that little snort. Fred is typecasted in this role, which kinda annoys me, but what annoys me more is that it fit. Steven is too high, Dee's a bit forced, and Mads has too many affects on his voice.

Ed Mcnamara Somehow sounds both bored and hammy at the same time.
Don Stark Sounds like a generic crook to me.
Dee Bradley Baker has used this voice before; doesn't sound too bad for Rhino though.
John Dimaggio sounds a bit too light, but not horrible overall.
Bob Gloubermann sounds pretty good for his particular version of Rhino and the effects help rather than detract from his performance.
Steve Blum's voice doesn't really fit here. I'd probably blame the director here, but his voice is too light and high for Rhino.
Clancy Brown's voice is low, powerful, and a little thick without sounding too dumb and really fits Rhino.
Fred Tatasciore is suitably low, monstrous, and dumb.
Mads Mikkelsen sounds low, powerful, and angry; pretty good.
I ended up going with Clancy Brown for this one.

@TheTrueYuma Now if he only reprised it with Kurtwood Smith playing another villain it would be awesome.

@pete Yes, but who would Kurtwood Smith play? Hmm...
Replysaid at 12:41 AM on Wed Mar 6 2013
@TheTrueYuma Thiking he'd work as thug so maybe Shocker or Scorpion he could call Rhino a dumbass everytime he screwed up.

Don Stark , Clancy Brown, John Dimmagio and Dee Bradley Baker. Bob Glouberman for Ultimate version.

I'm just surprised that Mads Mikkelsen's Rhino didn't make any references to Casino Royale or even just poking fun at James Bond in general.
.... *sigh* Slight disappointment....

@MilanTheVillain01 Apparenttly, it's Max Mittleman who voiced Rhino.

@MilanTheVillain01 I saw the the Credits Clearly, And it's Max Mittleman, Not Mads Mikklesen.

Le Chiffre as the rhino, luckily spidey didn't end up tied to any bottomless chairs ;)

Mads Mikkelsen was... okay. Like with Luke Cage and Iron Fist on Ultimate and some characters on other shows, I don't care for for the deaging of the character.
Replysaid at 9:07 PM on Thu Jan 31 2013
Mads Mikkelsen sounds too high and lacks gruffness. Gonna stick with Clancy Brown.

Mads Mikkelsen was okay. I hate how Rhino was handled in Ultimate Spider-Man. I'm sticking with Clancy Brown.

Wow, Mads Mikkelsen? What a waste of a celebrity guest voice. :/

Ed McNamara runs over everyone else with his voice of Rhino.

Don Stark for me. Brown, Tatasciore and DiMaggio were good too, but there's something about Don's that I love.

@TylerMirage Maybe it's the threatening way he delivers his lines In one episode he pins someone(I forget who and threatens to grind their bones to dust if they don't cooperate or something along the lines.
Replysaid at 10:16 PM on Fri Jan 25 2013
@TylerMirage Meh, he sounds too high IMO.

I think Clancy Brown is the best Rhino. I also think Fred Tatasciore and John Dimaggio are good too.

Ironically John Dimaggio's voice was the same for Sandman.

Actually, no they weren't; DiMaggio's Sandman was a bit different. His Sandman was more like Bender, his Rhino sounds similar to Brad Garrett.

@Anicomicgeek His performance is pretty inconsistent then because sometimes his Rhino will sound like Bender depending on the game
Replysaid at 1:02 AM on Sat Sep 8 2012
@Anicomicgeek Here it's sounds like Garrett but still I've heard performances that are lighter.
Replysaid at 11:02 PM on Sat Sep 8 2012
@pete
No, from what IIRC, it was more or less always consistent and DiMaggio trying to sound like Brad Garrett. But then again, it has been a while, but I'm pretty sure it didn't go into the same voice he sued for Sandman.

@Anicomicgeek IMO it's the usual voice he used for Sandman, Juggernaut, and Bender and various other dudes but it's deepened if he lightened it it'd be the same.

I have to go with Clancy Brown, if only because he managed to make the Rhino seem halfway intelligent, in the sense that you can tell he's a high school dropout but has enough smarts to try to get the job done.
Replysaid at 10:58 AM on Mon Feb 27 2012
@Pokejedservo Uh I hate to burst your bubble but that definitely is not Steve Blum. If you really want to hear his Rhino performance use a clip from the Spider man 3 game he really does an impressive work there.

Clancy Brown is the best as Rhino IMO, though Don Stark and John DiMaggio are pretty good, too. Bob Glouberman does work as Ultimate Rhino.
