Voice Compare » Spider-Man » Michael Morbius
Comparision of the voice over actors who have been the voice of Michael Morbius with sound clips and images.
Michael Morbius is a tragic sympathetic antagonist/protagonist in the Spider-Man storyline whom made his comic book debut in The Amazing Spider-Man #101 in October of 1971. Michael Morbius was known as a brilliant young scientist whom turned himself into a vampire due to a experiment gone wrong (though the circumstances behind this scenario do differ on which story we are talking about) and he fights his vampire urges though he often loses. Morbius has had a long history of fighting and working with various heroes such as Spider-Man himself over the years. Back in the 1970's while he was a tragic and sympathetic villain he was still a villain nevertheless but he started to have a more heroic role in the early 90's in which he has had quite a history as a hero and a villain ever since.
EDITOR'S OPINIONToday on the Spider Man VC section we take a look at this tragic night-walker known as MICHAEL MORBIUS! Let us begin...
Nick Jameson- First of all yes I am aware about how there are those a little sore at how FOX refused to allow the writers of the show to ever say the word "Blood" so they went with Plasma due to censorship issues but to be honest its not that big a deal to me. Anyways Nick's work as Morbius is very good as his voice and performance suited on how this Romanian young man went from smug pretty-boy scientist to a man tormented by his new urges on becoming a vampire. Basically its a fine example of Nick's work and of the voice work in the show.
Sean Donnellan- While Morbius had a small appearance here with a few lines Sean's voice and performance do suit the role fairly well. (In which Sean's voice for the role does occasionally remind me of Liam O'Brien as well.) But still Sean's overall work on the role does suit on how Morbius is known as a "Tragic Vampire" well and is a good example of the voice work in the game.
Overall both of these guys are good but I will go with Nick Jameson the most here.
