Voice Compare » Spider-Man » Dr. Farley Stillwell
Comparision of the voice over actors who have been the voice of Dr. Farley Stillwell with sound clips and images.
Dr. Farley Stillwell is one of the various secondary characters in the Spider Man series whom made his Comic Book Debut in The Amazing Spider Man #20 back in 1965. Farley Stillwell is a genetics scientist whom was doing experiments about how to induce animal mutations into Humans in which J. Jonah Jameson was interested and deciding to fund his research. The reason why J.J.J funded Farley's research was to experiment on Mac Gargan and turn him into the Scorpion namely to infuse Scorpion DNA into him as Mac wears a Scorpion-themed suit. However lets just say Farley ends up strongly regretting his involvement in this project (though his fate does differ depending on which story he was in) though he has a brother by the name of Harlan Stillwell whom used this experiment to create the Human Fly.

EDITOR'S OPINION
Today on the Spider Man VC section we take a look at the man whom is mainly known as the creator of The Scorpion... DR. FARLEY STILLWELL! Now lets begin...Tom Harvey- I was pleasantly surprised here as Tom's voice for the role was actually quite fitting as it does have a intellectual feel (that does have a sense of sophistication but doesn't feel too overdone in that regard). Its probably one of Tom Harvey's better performances in that show.
Michael Rye- Michael Rye is actually a bit more fortunate here as Dr. Farley gets a somewhat bigger role in this show. Michael's performance for the role did suit on how Stillwell went from a eager though somewhat arrogant scientist to paranoid & insane a little later on in the series. Michael's voice was also rather fitting for the role as it does have a suitably intellectual feel (and I am cool with how his voice for the role does sound somewhat European). Michael Rye's work as Farley Stillwell is probably one of his better performances and a good example of the voice work in the show.
Overall both of these guys did rather well with this role but in the end I am going with Michael Rye the most here but Tom Harvey was a close second.
