Snow White Snow White

Comparision of the voice over actors who have been the voice of Witch with sound clips and images.
Franchise: Snow White

The "Witch" is the haggard old peddler form the Queen takes on to disguise herself from Snow White during her assassination attempt. She offers Snow White a poisoned apple, passing it off as a magic wishing apple that grants whatever Snow White desires. With Snow White falling to the "Sleeping Death", the Witch hopes that the dwarves, believing Snow White to be dead, would bury her alive in their mourning.

Lucille shows an incredibly impressive range voicing both the Witch and the Queen. She's able to transition from sounding young and powerful to aged and somewhat raspy and she does it almost seamlessly.

Louise is a little too high to me and it comes off more to me as a young woman trying to sound old than actually sounding old.

Susanne like Lucille also shows off an impressive range here. The KH games already show off her range enough but this was a really nice change of pace for her, haven't really heard her do a voice like this before.

1. Lucille La Verne
2. Susanne Blakeslee
3. Louse Chamis

Once again Lucille just owns this role. She scared the heck out of me with that voice when I was younger! I love how she also manages to make it distinct from her Queen voice. Amazing performance.

To be fair the other two do better here than they do as the Queen. Louis Chamis sounds like a typical over the top witch but it works. And Susanne Blakeslee has that creepy vibe to it. Still neither of them come close to Lucille's top notch performance.

I still think Flo Di Re should get a chance to voice the character.

1. Lucille La Verne: La Verne sounds very evil and wicked, and is very fitting for this role.
2. Susanne Blakeslee: Blakeslee's portrayal of the Witch is wonderful. Preferably the cackle.
3. Louise Chamis: Chamis sounds like a stereotypical witch, but the evil cackle makes up for it.

Just as before, Lucille gets my vote, with Susanne in second place and Louise in third. The latter does somewhat better here than she did as the queen, but all the same, I still think her voice is too high to do the character justice.

Once again, Lucille wins. Louise sounds too exaggerated, and Susanne, while a bit better than her Queen voice, somewhat misses the mark. Then again, considering how iconic this villainess is, Lucille would be a tough act to follow.

"the Witch hopes that the dwarves, believing Snow White to be dead, would bury her alive in their mourning" - All my life, and I can't believe I never knew that little detail.

Lucille's performance is the original and sounds the most genuine. The other two actresses give a more generic "Wicked Witch" voice, but I like Susanne's better.

Lucille again. However, unlike with the Queen, this time Susanne played the old hag better than Louise Chamis, who was WAY too high pitched and caricatured in the part.

Lucille really makes her sound creepy which is what she's supposed 2 sound like. Susanne captures a nicer version of the character that I feel is more tempting.

Louise doesn't fit here either.

At the beginning of Louise's clip it sounds like the Wizard of Oz Wicked Witch theme and sounds like her too

@pete have you heard her in House of Mouse she sounds just twice as creepy and scary

@MatthewC17 I meant the music at the beginning of the clips sounds like The Wicked Witch theme from the Wizard of Oz NOT her voice.

I'll give it to La Verne on this one but I still say Blakeslee was the better 'Queen' voice.
