Comparision of the voice over actors who have been the voice of Matsu with sound clips and images.
Matsu is the wife of Maede Toshiie whom she loves whole-heartedly. She also cares for her adopted nephew Maeda Keiji and feels responsible for him when he causes trouble. She is a great cook and also a fierce fighter.
In the English dub of the first Sengoku Basara video game (renamed Devil Kings for the English release) she was voiced by Tabitha St. Germain.
Devil Kings' English dub was recorded by the Ocean Group in Vancouver.
Capcom renamed the characters in an attempt to appeal to western audiences, so in the English release of Devil Kings Matsu was renamed Bramble.
For the English dub of Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes, Matsu is voiced by Erika Lenhart.
In the English dub of the Sengoku Basara anime franchise, Matsu is voiced by Jamie Marchi.
Funimation's English dub is recorded in Texas.
Fun fact. This game was recorded in L.A. and Taliesin Jaffe had Christopher Bevins help with the script adaption for the game and around the same time Funimation announced the license for the anime series. Being the "Basara expert" Chris Bevins managed to get the job of directing and writing for the anime's English dub. With the contact info he had available, asked some of the game's cast if they would reprise their roles for the anime.

EDITOR'S OPINION
I think all three VAs did rather well. While I don't really have a personal favorite voice, IMO Jamie Marchi was probably the best overall.Jackson_H
