Well folks now we the main heroine of the Project A-Ko series namely A-Ko herself!

In the English dub of the 1st installment she was voiced by old British screen actress Stacey Gregg whom did fairly well. Stacey's A-Ko is fairly high and cute and her overall performance did fit A-Ko's energetic persona pretty well.

For the rest of the Project A-Ko series she is voiced by Ocean Group VA Teryl Rothery whom also did rather well. I will admit that Teryl's A-Ko voice does sound a bit similar to Stacey's A-Ko voice but it definitely does work. Teryl's overall voice and performance for A-Ko was quite fitting and its quite possibly one of Teryl's best performances.

Overall I liked them both but I am going with Teryl here...

I love the energy that Teryl puts into the role. An excellent performance IMO.

Too bad we couldn't have gotten an Ocean Group dub of the first film! I own the film from the new DVD from Discotek, but the dub is quite lacking so I only watch it in Japanese. If there would have been a solid Ocean Dub I would just love the film even more. Teryl Rothery has attitude and energy which is fitting of the character, if she did a slightly higher voice it would be a perfect fit, but the one she uses sounds just a tad too old. Stacey Gregg on the other hand... well, I just said I avoid the dub in the first film, I think that just about says it.
