EDITOR'S OPINION
Ah Jessie the feminine though blatantly dominant half of this little trio of Team Rocket members.I know the Voice comparisons between 4Kids and PUSA do have a bit of a history of debates. (Similar to that certain situation regarding Dragon Ball namely DBZ but that's another story.)
But I will say this much on how Michele Knotz does a very good impression of Rachel Lillis' Jessie voice. Rachel Lillis' voice work for Jessie is pretty classic but Michele Knotz as Jessie is one of the better PUSA voices for sure well IMO of course.

karen said at 2:29 AM on Wed Jul 8 2009Michele Knotz. Rachael's performance as Jessie is great. But it feels to much like her standard villainess, she uses the exact same. voice, tone, method, and attitude for Ursula in Dinosaur King.

Michele Knotz' does a good job, though. But while Michele's Jessie sounds very similar to the original voice, her portrayal of Jessie still lacks the energy and "anger" that Rachael's Jessie had.

I agree that Michele Knotz does a good job, but the original voice actors can never be replaced. Rachel Lillis is my choice!

aimee said at 2:21 AM on Sun Dec 20 2009Rachael. I don't like the new version of Pokemon. It's not nostalgia-it's my preference. I liked the newer versions of DBZ, so I'm not one to base anything on the people I hear first. But Rachael's Jessie was amazing. She grew into the role, but she also brought so much to it--made you care about Jessie, and wow, the original cast had such chemistry. The new cast doesn't have that. Michelle has some voice matching going on with this character, but there's no soul, no personality whatsoever. I don't mean to be mean, but PUSA screwed over the original voice actors AND the fans.

Michele Knotz is better. Rachael's voice is too high.
