Seems like forever since I last did a Voice Compare, but with a new year and still being the holiday season here's a holiday character, Miss Valentine!
Miss Valentine is an agent of Baroque Works and is partnered with Mr. 5 for various missions.
She is a devil fruit user of the Kilo Kilo Fruit which allows her to decrease and increase her weight from 1 kilogram (2.2 lbs) to 10,000 kilograms (22,000 lbs) without changing her body size.
With this dangerous ability she can crush her opponents to death with intense force and also escape situations by floating on the wind with an umbrella.
Miss Valentine usually doesn't take her work very seriously; often laughing at her opponents. She is a very confident person, enjoys tormenting her opponents but dislikes being ignored.
In the original English dub of the One Piece anime series by 4Kids Entertainment, Miss Valentine was voiced by Amy Palant.
When Funimation got the license for the One Piece anime series after 4Kids dropped it, Jamie Marchi voiced Miss Valentine in the uncut re-dubbed episodes.
*Chio Su Ping apparently voiced Miss Valentine in the Odex dub, but unfortunately I don't have a clip for her at the moment.

EDITOR'S OPINION
I'm sure many Sonic fans know that Amy Palant at one point voiced Tails in various video games and the voice for Miss Valentine is pretty similar.While some of you may think the voice is great, I personally think it's very unfitting for THIS character.
IMO Amy Palant's voice doesn't match Miss Valentine's personality, age or appearance very well.
However I'm sure if Amy Palant had a better script to work with (one that wasn't toned down for 4Kids' children target audience) she might've done better (voice direction could've affected the outcome too).
4Kids also made the strange decision to skip several episodes (an entire mini story arc) which reduced the episodes Miss Valentine appeared in.
I think Jamie Marchi did a much better job voicing this character, so my vote goes to her.

If Amy's voice was this boyish when she was playing Tails I probably wouldn't have hated her so much. But hearing it on Valentine, a woman, is really freaking annoying. I'm gonna go Jaime for sure.

WoW! why does 4kids choose poor voice actors. i din't like amy. It's like they don't have souls.

@Gekko_Amario 4Kids were not bad voice actors, in fact I suggest watching the dub for Berserk. The biggest misconception of 4Kids was that they had bad acting when it was just bad direction and GOD AWFUL localization.

1. Jamie Marchi - She sounds more natural and fits the character better
2. Amy Palant - She sounds like a young boy I'd say she almost sounds like Tara Strong doing Timmy

Wow, Palant's Valentine voice is a better boy's voice than her Tails was!

Marchi nailed it. Palant's read sounded a like she was trying to voice a young boy. (yup. same conclusion as everyone else)

Wow, who says Amy Palant sounds too much like a girl! At least we know her Tails could sound even better than before! That tails voice is perfect! But I have to give this to Jamie. Her voice indeed fit the character better by just appearance alone.

@AMT Yeah it's strange... but Amy Palant actually sounded MORE like a boy as Ms. Valentine than as Tails!

Both voices had their pros, but yeah Jaime Marchi is definitely the better choice for the role here.
