Voice Compare » One Piece » Gaimon
Comparision of the voice over actors who have been the voice of Gaimon with sound clips and images.
Gaimon is a former pirate who years ago while searching for treasure fell off a cliff into an empty treasure chest. Over the next twenty years the treasure chest became a part of his body
and could not be removed without killing him.
He's hostile to any one who either wants to harm the local animals on the island or search for hidden treasure. If the visitors do neither he's quite friendly.
In the English dub of the One Piece anime by Odex Gaimon was voiced by Joe Murray.
In the English dub of the One Piece anime by 4Kids Entertainment he was voiced by J. David Brimmer.
In the English dub of the One Piece anime by Funimation Entertainment he is voiced by Jonathan Osbourne.

EDITOR'S OPINION
Joe Murray's voice is interesting but IMO doesn't quite fit the character. I guess I'd call it a tie between Brimmer and Osbourne. I think they're both very good.Jackson_H

I'm pretty impressed by J. David Brimmer's voice, it manages to sound different enough from his other performances in the show. His deep gruff tone really fits, especially when he yells.
Jonathan C. Osborne had the best acting and sounded the most comedic here, its deep and gruff much like J. David Brimmer's voice, but it sounds different and he really makes the role his own. He definitely sounded the most authentic in the role and the fact that he even sort of LOOKS like him just tells me that he was born to play the role. It sounded like he had a lot of fun voicing Gaimon.
So my vote goes to Jonathan C Osborne, with J. David Brimmer as a fairly close second and Joseph Murray a distant third.
