Antony Del Rio clip updated! Made sure to include some of the game's best quotes.

I think the VA who fits Pit the best is Lani Minella. She has a perfect voice for pit and puts the most emotion into it. I was kinda upset that they swapped her though. I hope Lani Will voice pit in future Nintendo Games! ^_^!
1.Lani Minella
2.Antony Del Rio
As for the others, well.... Not trying to be mean here but they just don't suit pit well....Un_n!

Antony does a great job as pit and dark pit with a more deeper tone. He fits the role well.

Troy Lund is pretty bad; he sounds a little too old, but I could forgive that if he did a good job, though he really sounded unnatural. He really doesn't seemed surprised when he discovers that whatever-it-was was attacking, either. Still, it's more forgettable than offensively bad. It seems like that's his only role on BTVA so unless I'm missing something, he was probably just filling in until Antony Del Rio could take over.

Added Troy Lund, who played Pit in the first trailer in E3 2010. He's based in Seattle, so it seems like the decision to go with LA voice actors was a relatively late one (that, or they hadn't finalized casting yet and needed someone to voice the trailer. I'm just guessing)
Troy sounds a little too old for me. No offense, but maybe it was for the better that everyone was recast.

Antony Del Rio: {sighs} Yeeeah. At first, I bet a lot of people believed that Johnny Yong Bosch was going to voice Pit due to the quality of voice being heard. Shortly before the game's release, Antony Del Rio (I know him more as Reptil from The Super Hero Squad Show; am I a terrible person?) was confirmed. And judging from the anime shorts and the actual game, itself.... I can simply say that Del Rio voices Pit in a rather natural area. It seems to have more atmosphere in it since Del Rio had better to work with than the preceding VA... and no, I'm not talking about Minami Takayama.
Lani Minella: She did alright for what she pulled off in one measly Super Smash Bros. title. I can hear myself sometimes quoting a few of Pit's lines in the game. However, I HAVE heard better roles from Lani (i.e. Rouge the Bat, Ivy Valentine). And by the way, the examples I used were female characters!
Alessandro Juliani: I do hope this voice actor forgot this one very role. To put it in a simpler form, it works considering how hammy and light-hearted Captain N was... but would anyone really enjoy hearing this voice in more edgier content? {shrugs} Guess not, hm?
So to make a long story short, Antony Del Rio is definitely coming in at first, with Lani at a distant second, and Alessandro biting the dust.

Del Rio is good and sounds the most natural but I do remember reading somewhere that Pit is meant to be a captain of an army and that's where he falls short, I really can't picture Del Rio's version of Pit commanding squadrons or fighting monsters. Lani Minella's voice despite sounding a bit forced it has a slight toughness and a sort of intelligent tone to it while still sounding like young boy I can picture Pit with that sort of voice fighting monsters and what not and being able to direct an army. If she had more lines to work with and a better direction Lani Minella would be the superior Pit.

Antony Del Rio gets my vote as he has an excellent voice for the character, even if his acting is a BIT stiff (mainly the last bit). He even sounds a lot like Johnny Yong Bosch's Renton voice, but more natural.
I actually didn't realize that Pit was voiced by a woman while playing Brawl and I think the voice is pretty good, but I'm glad they swapped her out for Uprising; she just didn't seem realistic on an acting basis.
Finally, let's just say that we're all glad Alessandro Juliani hit puberty...

I prefer Antony, though Lani really isn't that bad either, possibly a tad forced. Alessandro just sounded too cartoonish...

I'm going with Antony. It's more convincing. As for Minella...I'm not a fan of her boy voices. They never sound believable.

I'm sticking by Minella here. Having a woman voice Pit as in the original Japanese versions of Brawl and Uprising is just more fitting.

@CatsTuxedo Really? Even though Pit was voiced by a woman in Japanese, Lani's voice just isn't convincing at all.
Replysaid at 6:56 PM on Sat Mar 10 2012
@CatsTuxedo So the quality of his acting doesn't matter because Antony Del Rio isn't a woman? If everything has to be exactly the same as the original version of it then what's the point of dubs in the first place? The acting counts, not the gender of the actor. Different adaptions can change different things. Sometimes the changes work, and sometimes they fall flat on their face. A dub should not and does not have to be exactly the same as the original version.

Honestly, I'm just gonna say that neither of them are really that interesting, but since I've heard Lani a LOT more and she seems to know what she's doing, I think she wins. Overall:
1. Lani Minella
2. Alessandro Juliani ("My testicus haven't dropped-icus")
Also, although it may not as well be certain, I think Johnny Yong Bosch is actually voicing Pit in the English version for Kid Icarus: Uprising. I was watching the trailer from E3 2011 and heard it, myself... That is, if this was recently changed up by now. Either way, is anyone thinking that this guy needs to take a break? He was going around extremely strong in the past as the almighty Black Power Ranger, Adam Park and then Vash the Stampede from Trigun, and over the years, I'm not too sure whether to say that Johhny still has his touch or not...

@Ninjaman15 Somebody contacted Johnny Yong Bosch, and he said it's not him. Again, no clue how this blatantly false rumour started (for one, he doesn't work in Seattle where Nintendo of America is located, and that's also where their VA talent pool is).

Neither are very good, but I suppose Lani wins.

@Bombermanp "May" is the key word in your sentence. Personally, I doubt Nintendo would go with a male VA for Pit.

@pokemastanumba1 Based on the trailer, he does have a male voice, and it's his best one yet. We can add it when the voice actor is identified.

@Bombermanp Lani didn't have any lines in Brawl like everyone else in that game, so I doubt that that was the true extent of her talents. I think it's most likely still her, as she has been working with Nintendo ever since that game, having recently voiced half of the Koopalings in NSMBW.

@NCZ Actually, it's been recently confirmed that Lani will reprise her role in Kid Icarus: Uprising. This change was just announced at E3 2011: http://www.wiipals.net/Forum/f219/noa-gives-pit-a-last-second-voice-change-80340.html

@pokemastanumba1 That's some guy at a forum who thinks the voice sounds different. It hasn't been officially confirmed. Plus, I have no idea where people are getting the rumours of Lani Minella and Johnny Yong Bosch from considering that neither voice sounds anything like them.

Great to have this VC up! I personally prefer Lani here. She sounds more natural and realistic.
P.S. Can anyone do VCs of other SSBB characters? I would really appreciate it. :D
