EDITOR'S OPINION
They all did a pretty good job at making Ryu sound like the serious ninja you'd expect him to be, though I favour Justin and Troy over Josh thanks to their deeper voices. Troy ends up winning this one because I think he put the most passion into his performance.1. Troy Baker
2. Justin Gross
3. Josh Keaton

1. Josh Keaton-I agree with Spider-Fox and akbar264 that his voice actually fits Ryu very well. I know he's a little light but we have to remember Ryu is portayed in his twenties. Your voice doesn't change that much until your thirties.
2. Troy Baker-He has the most emotion of any of them so far, especially in Ninja Gaiden 3. Spider-Fox put it best when he said Ryu is a archatypal Baker character but he's still great.
3. Justin Gross-His voice does fit Ryu, but he just sounds so bland.

Josh Keaton, his voice is the most natural and the darkness doesn't sound forced and there is some subtlety there

I honestly think Josh Keaton did the best. He just sounds the way Ryu should sound. He sounds the deepest but without overdoing it.
Troy Baker is second for me since, lets face it Ryu Hayabusa is a archatypal Troy Baker character but he doesn't sound as deep as Keaton.
Justin Gross set the standard for Ryu's voice and while I like him the least, I gotta say he didn't do that bad.

Hideyuki Hori and Justin Gross are the perfect ones for the job.

Meh. It's a bit hard for me to comprehend... But there's a reason for that: I've not much knowledge about Ryu's character, other than the fact that he's a ninja and appeared outside of the Ninja Gaiden series, only to the underrated DOA games... Which have characters who lack personality, and all the females have to have huge breasts! Jeeeezz!!! Ain't that a little too much to ask for, Tecmo? Or whoever develops the majority of the titles?
Anyway, while I do like Troy's performance, it was actually Gross and Hideyuki Hori who got me... They both did stellar jobs, to be honest. Keaton should just stick with Spiderman :/
