Definitely Margaret Cassidy. She sounds like an actual little girl. (Well, she was one herself during recording. I think.)

A shame that Marie is the only character Margaret has voiced.

@Fulgore2005 She was. Eleven years old, in fact. (About seven years older than her onscreen character, but that doesn't matter, she's adorable either way.) Nathan was 12, while Meg was 13/14.

@JTurner That is interesting. Thought it was clever on ADV's part to get younger actors to voice the children.

@Fulgore2005 Yeah, that was the reason I fell in love with the dub of NADIA to begin with. The Grandis gang and everyone else was another (although Ev's Nemo DID take a bit of getting used to).

Cheryl Chase sounded just like her Angelica Pickles, but I forgive her since this was before that. Anyway, I thought that they were both equally as good. Tie.

While Cheryl Chase doesn't do a bad job by any means, I have to say that Cassidy is the better Marie. A) because she actually SOUNDS like a girl (actually, she was 11 at the time). B) she brings an intangible cuteness to the role while being lively. C) she sounds more natural. No offense to Chase, but if there's anyone I'd rather hear as Marie, it's Margaret.
Who do you think has been the best from these Marie Rowenbrau voice actors?
