EDITOR'S OPINIONThese are two somewhat different personalities as usual (though not quite as glaring as previous examples), so your opinion depends on which version of the character you prefer. Concerning the Generation 3.5 version, I find it rather amusing that Libman basically used the same voice that she would later give to the considerably-more-popular Generation 4 Pinkie Pie. However, since this Sweetie Belle lacks the energetic air and overall likeability of that Pinkie Pie, her voice just tends to come off as grating at times.
As for Corlett, I do respect the decision to cast a child actor in the part to give the character a more authentically young-sounding voice. While her performance by herself doesn't quite suggest anything really unique about the character, she stands out a bit more when paired with the other two CMCs; her voice is softer than those of the other two, which suggests a more feminine/less confident personality than those of her friends and compliments the character's shyness about her true talent nicely. I'm giving Corlett the slight edge here.
