Doug's a good actor, but Hiro Kanagawa is far much better in this role.

Eh, I've seen this in Japanese only (the compilation films, show was way too long IMO) so I'm having difficulty getting behind either of these. I think the bass voice from the JP version made this character feel a lot creepier & more dastardly. Please feel free to disagree here, I'd appreciate it as I'm sure there's something to be said here that I'm missing.

@huzaifa_ahmed What do you think of Liam O'Brien from The Origin?

@Lpfan120 I have not had the chance to see it as of yet! Although with that said I hope to enjoy it, as it sounds like a very good choice

Hiro Kanagawa gets my vote. Doug Stone isn't bad either, but he makes Gihren sound a bit too "Heroic" I think? Not quite as fitting as Hiro's take really.

He thought himself as Hitler!!!!! He I despised the most. Now Garma and Dozla they were men of honor, they followed only out of loyalty to their father and family.

Loved Hiro's performance. He has a more rousing and malicious tone in his performance.
Looking forward to Liam O'Brien's version too.

Doug sounds oddly sympathetic and sincere, which is very unfitting for the Gundam equivalent of Hitler. Hiro has much eviler sound to him while also being more natural. He gets my vote.

I can barely hear Doug Stone's one. But Hiro Kanagawa is an actual Asian American and that voice and performance is just perfect for a crazed dictator like Gihren.
