EDITOR'S OPINION

Elec Man, one of the original 6 Wily Robots whom has the most powerful weapon of the MM1 bots namely the Elec Beam.

In the NA Animated Mega Man series he was voiced by Terry "Cut Man" Klassen and while Elec Man may have only been on the show a few times I have no problems whatsoever with Terry's voice. In fact I would say that Terry Klassen's Elec Man voice is indeed something that I very much pictured Elec Man to sound like.

In the English dub of the Mega Man Battle Network anime series he was voiced by Ocean Group VA Kirby Morrow. When I first heard that Kirby Morrow was voicing Elec Man I was a bit surprised and kind of uncertain but then I soon saw on how he was indeed suitable for the role. (Though I admit I was watching the show before I got the chance to play the games. Although I admit due to how at least IMO Elec Man.exe looked a rather bit more "Bishounen" than his original series counterpart did help in making this easier to understand.) But still Kirby Morrow's overall voice and performance did suit this rather calm mannered Net Navi.

And last and kind of the least is in Mega Man Powered Up in which in the English version he was voiced by Blue Water VA Brendan Hunter. And while the English voice work for Powered Up only had a decent at best exception many did wonder why did Elec Man had such a Flamboyant voice and personality? And I must admit I would agree that its not hard to see why would anyone wonder about that. But to be fair in Brendan's defense he did play that kind of "Stereotype" well but I am just not certain whether if it fits Elec Man or not. Needless to say at least for the Original Elec Man I am more going for Terry Klassen than Brendan Hunter here.

Overall I liked Terry Klassen and Kirby Morrow the most, in which Brendan Hunter is a rather miscast/misdirected last place.

Blah, none of them really were that great, but when I played Mega Man Powered Up, I thought that Brendan Hunter's voice acting was pretty funny. Still doesn't get my vote. The likelihood of another voice actor for Elec Man is the same as the chance of seeing Mega Man Universe released, unfortunately.

Terry Klassen just sounded like a nerd and Brendan Hunter sounded too flamboyant that I couldn't take him seriously, Kirby Morrow delivers his performance just right. Serious, calm and cool, voting for him.

@Metabad I hear more of a thug but honestly I think they(him and Kirby) remind too much of Electro.

I actually think none of them are all that great for Elecman. They're not bad, just don't sound what I imagine for him.

@Pokejedservo Blame Capcom for deciding which character gets an effeminate personality in the Mega Man PSP remakes (after all, look at what they did to Launch Octopus in Maverick Hunter X).
