Mordin Solus

Comparision of the voice over actors who have been the voice of Mordin Solus with sound clips and images.
Franchise: Mass Effect

Mordin Solus is a Salarian scientist responsible for modifying a biological weapon called the "Genophage", which reduces the probability of viable pregnancies in female Krogans. In casual situations, he is affable, quick-talking and friendly. While he refuses to allow his conscience cloud his judgement and firmly believes that the ends justify the means, he draws the line at taking life without a good cause.

EDITOR'S OPINION

Both actors sound really similar in the part and convey the character's traits well enough, so I'm calling this a tie.

I'm actually going with Salyers. He feels more intense and raw to me, and I dig it.

They're nearly identical. I'm going with Michael Beattie because he does put a little more energy into the part.

William is probably the best possible replacement for Michael, but come on. Michael Beattie absolutely OWNED this role. Not to mention, his voice being a little higher fits Mordin's hyper personality more, and you can't go wrong with him singing Gilbert and Sullivan.

I honestly can't decide. Both are excellent, and Saylers shows here that he has a LOT of range.

 2 Shout Outs!
I prefer Michael Beattie. I think he gave Mordin more personality.
