Comparision of the voice over actors who have been the voice of Wasp with sound clips and images.
Franchise: Marvel Universe

Wasp is a Super-heroine from Marvel Comics whom made her comic book debut Tales to Astonish #44 in June of 1963. Wasp is generally known as Janet Pym the wife of Super-Hero Hank Pym whom has several Super Hero names but unlike her dear husband Janet has only stuck with one name which is Wasp. Anyways Wasp's power is to shrink herself into a few centimeters tall and can fly with insect-like wings and fights with little energy beams (all provided by technology created by her husband Hank Pym). Janet Pym's relationship with Hank Pym can widely differ when from being pretty good to really awful (its generally depending on how Hank Pym is being depicted in the storyline).

Today on the Marvel Universe VC we have a little something for Hank Pym's beloved wife... WASP! I know this is not a really big VC but to be honest I am just going right out and say that I liked Colleen O'Shaughnessy the most here. Colleen's voice and performance for the role can be spunky and cute but can also be suitably vulnerable in her more dramatic moments as well. Colleen's work as Wasp is probably one of her best performances out there and is an excellent example of the voice work in Avengers EMH. That being said all the others are very good as well but I am not entirely sure where I would rank them as none of them seem bad at all to me. Overall I quite enjoyed Colleen's work on the role but all the others did well with the role as well.

Alexandra like Jennifer and Tara were too cute and sweet sounding she's in between the two of them

 1 Shout Out!
1. Colleen O'Shaughnessey: Even if Wasp felt completely pointless at times in the series, Colleen really is the most entertaining of the bunch. Nothing really else I can say that others haven't said already.

2. Linda Ballantyne: She has a sort of spunky yet loving voice and is rather distinct (even if I sometimes hear Sailor Moon in her voice). She fits Wasp as a caring wife to Hank. If she was a little more energetic I might tie her with Colleen.

3. Jennifer Morrison: Maybe a little younger than she should be but she has a sassy but sweet voice that fits nicely for Janet.

4. Grey DeLisle: She fits but is a little bland in the long run.

5. Alexandra Daddario: She has potential, her take is more quirky and she does fit that aspect. It's just her delivery that kills it for her which I blame more on direction.

6. Tara Strong: Maybe could have worked but the fact that this was copy and pasted to like 5 other characters makes it harder to view it on its own merits.

7. Peg Dixon: Makes Janet sound fragile and weak plus her acting is really awkward and unpolished.

VC thoughts update

Colleen O'Shaughnessey is really great as Wasp. I love how energetic she is and she also sounds pretty spunky. A perfect fit overall.

Vita Linder is pretty good too. The corny delivery does have a lot of charm, actually.

Grey DeLisle is also good. She does sound likeable and sweet.

Tara Strong sounds pretty cute. She fits the SHS version quite well.

Linda Ballantyne sounds pretty good too. She does sound pretty youthful and sweet.

Jennifer Morrison and Alexandra Daddario are pretty nice takes, but they aren't that memorable. Alexandra in particular needs to polish her delivery a little bit more.

 5 Shout Outs!
What more can I say about Colleen that hasn't been said? She voices Wasp with so much feisty spunk and personality. A stand out from Earth's Mightiest Heroes, for sure.

Linda Ballantyne is a close second, I really like her depiction. She's very fitting for the slightly older Wasp of the comics, but Colleen voices a more entertaining version.

Colleen O'Shaughnessy adds the most personality and likeability to the role of Wasp. I think it helps that Wasp tends to usually be one of the least interesting characters in the comics but the EMH version is a younger, feistier and full of spunk girl who just wants to be a hero. She and Wally Wingert have excellent chemistry too which helps. She's also been fortunate to have reprise Wasp in the Disney Infinity game too which is neat.

Grey Delisle-Griffin would be my second favourite, even though Ultimate Avengers Wasp wasn't as cool or fun, she voiced her really well.

Linda Ballantyne definitely makes for a better Wasp than she ever did as Sailor Moon. I actually like the sound of her take all things considered.

Jennifer Morrison is somewhat amusing in the role, though that's probably due to the show and the way Wasp was written.

Tara Strong is fun sounding but it's nothing too original or fresh that she hasn't done before.

Peg Dixon/Vita Linder (whoever she is) sounds too old and really useless sounding too.

Definitely giving my vote to Colleen.

BONUS: I think either Kira Tozer or Kira Buckland would make for an awesome Wasp, they could both bring a lot of spunk to the role.

If Wasp does star in Avengers Assemble but Colleen does not reprise and instead they go with a new actress... who would it be?

@Mutant God Then probably Mae Whitman, not so much Alyson Stoner. Also, isn't that how old she always was?

Colleen is my favourite, though I liked Linda Ballantyne's take too.

Colleen is easily the most endearing and likable Wasp. I also like Jennifer Morrison's take, but she went a bit over-the-top at some points. Grey Delisle is generic, Linda Ballantyne sounds like a Susan Egan impersonation (and gives me flashbacks to her crappy Sailor Moon), and Peg Dixon is bland AND annoying as heck.

Collen is the only Wasp I really heard often other than Grey's, so I'll go with Collen

Colleen's Wasp is lovely to listen to and very entertaining as well as endearing, I love her work on the character. Jennifer Morrison also fits pretty well even though her dialogue seems a little annoying here.

At first I thought Colleen was a little grating in the show, but now that I look back, I think she did an excellent job. Even the scenes that annoyed me before don't annoy me now.

1. Colleen O..you know- A delight to listen to, she has the spunk and energy that fits the character. One of Colleen's best performaces.

2. Jennifer Morrison- I do like her voice as it does feel playful and did capture the spunk of the character. I'd love to hear her more as Wasp.

3. Linda Ballantyne- She had a playful quality to her voice and attitude was done very well. One of the better voices of that show.

4. Grey Delisle- She was good as the role but was a little to serious but I haven't seen the movie in a while so I don't remeber if she was less serious.

5. Peg Dixon- She makes Wasp sound too fragel and her voice acting isn't so great, listen to the last part where she says "impossible".
