EDITOR'S OPINIONAlright folks for this Marvel VC we have the Blond Bombshell of the Jungle namely SHANNA THE SHE DEVIL! While nowadays she is known as Ka-Zar's ever so lovely wife she also starred in her own comics series beforehand however in her appearances in these adaptations she was only a special guest star and for the most part a bit cameo. Nevertheless Shanna's initial animated appearance was in a episode of Spiderman and his Amazing Friends episode "7 Little Superheroes" in which she was voiced by Janet Waldo. Janet's voice for the role while kind of generic was decent for the role and her performance had a fairly good showing of strength behind it, its not Janet's best work but its not bad. While Shanna only had a moderate amount of screentime this depiction had the most screentime out of the three (and even then a good portion of her lines are from when Chameleon assumed her form).
In the early 90's X Men series Shanna had a rather brief cameo during when the series was at the Savage Land and Megan Smith Harris voiced her at the time. While I admit I thought that Megan's voice for the role was perhaps a little too high but her performance (for what little Megan got) wasn't too shabby though I suppose. So basically its decent but its own merits but its very average at best compared to the other performances in the show for the most part.
And last but not least Masasa Moyo voiced Shanna's so far only Video Game role namely her bit role in X Men Legends II. While Shanna's role is only slightly larger than the 90's X Men series depiction (namely by having 2 lines instead of 1) Masasa probably has the best voice for Shanna out of the three. Masasa may not necessarily be perfect for the role but her voice and performance did give me a bit of a feeling that its a shame that Shanna only had a couple of lines in that game but its only somewhat above average in general. Overall to be honest none of them are perfect for the role but I suppose Masasa Moyo is the closest one out of the three here.
