Voice Compare » Marvel Universe » Adam Warlock
Comparision of the voice over actors who have been the voice of Adam Warlock with sound clips and images.
Adam Warlock is a Superhero from Marvel Comics whom made his debut on the 1st issue of Marvel Premiere in April of 1972. Adam Warlock is a creation of the High Evolutionary to serve his bidding and was given the Soul Gem (that was one of the "Infinity Gauntlet" Gems). However due to the fact that Adam Warlock is known for having the Soul Gem from the Infinity Gauntlet, known Intergalactic Super Villain Thanos ends up being one of his more prominent enemies. While many of his adventures are set in far away galaxies he has been on Earth before where he has worked with the Avengers before.

EDITOR'S OPINION
Today on the Marvel Universe VC section we have a little something for one of the various Marvel Super Heroes and this time its none other than this intergalactic hero with the Soul Gem from the infamous Infinity Gauntlet... ADAM WARLOCK! We shall start this one off with the late 90's Silver Surfer series in which Adam appeared for one episode as he was voiced by Oliver Becker. While there were viewers whom were bothered by how Adam was in this series but to be honest I actually wasn't as I rather liked Oliver's performance as Adam Warlock. First of all yes Oliver does ham it up a bit as Adam was first introduced as a manly hero ready for a fight but that's what I liked about that part of the performance as Oliver did display a fairly energetic performance that does sound heroic and confident. While after Adam's introductory scene was over with things lets just say got more serious and Oliver's performance did suit that as it did sound dramatic yet not overdone. So to be honest I actually found Oliver Becker's work as Adam Warlock to be one of the better performances in that show.During the 2nd Season of the Super Hero Squad Show, Adam Warlock indirectly became a minor recurring role in which he was voiced by series regular David Boat. In this show like most of the other characters Adam's characterization is a bit different as he is depicted to have a bit more of a sarcastic sense of humor (but as you can hear here David can play the role seriously as well). While David Boat's voice for the role did seem a little strange at first it does work for what the show was going with pretty well and is a decent performance in its own right. Overall I liked both performances but I am clearly going with Oliver Becker this time around.
