Both are really good and fit the role, but I'm leaning slightly towards Milton James

Both are excellent in the role.

Jeff sounds really creepy in the role. Which works as he is the creepy butler for the villain.

Milton sounds lighter. Though it helps to make Jodo less suspicious and more of a pompous character.

Yeah, both work for Jodo. But I slightly prefer Milton.

Jeff Winkless is much more distinct, plus his voice fits the way the character looks much better. Milton James seems okay, but for me I'm definitely going with Jeff Winkless just based on this clip.

As much as I disliked Jeff Winkless' Count Magnus Lee in "Vampire Hunter D", and his even more horrific Muska in the '80s dub of "Castle in the Sky", I gotta say his Jodo is actually not too bad. It's actually one of the better performances I've heard from him. I liked the sly, fey voice he uses for Jodo. It just shows that considering the circumstances, he CAN shine.

Milton James was the first Jodo I heard, so naturally, I'm more familiar with him. He has a less fey tone than Jeff, but he also sounds like a pompous butler, which is what Jodo is. I do wish the profanity in his dialogue was toned down, though, but that's more of a fault of the Manga dub than of his performance.

Honestly, I can't decide which one I like better. They both are great.

Winkless was one of the better voices in the Streamline dub, that said James gets my vote, because he sounds more natural and more in character.

James sounds more fitting and less overtly suspicious in my opinion.
Who do you think has been the best from these Jodo voice actors?
Jeff Winkless
