Kenneth Mars since he's the original but Jim, once again, did a perfect job at filling a legend's role

Cummings doesn't do a bad job as Triton; on its own it's pretty good. That said, Ken Mars gets my vote, God rest his soul.

Ken Mars. Jim Cummings is fantastic and his rendition really works, but it's just not the same.

Jim was ok but he only voiced King Triton because Kenneth Mars died back in early 2011 so i'm going with Kenneth mainly because he's the best.

@Ross123 If they replaced Ken with Jim due to Ken's death in 2011, then how do you explain "Ariel's Beginning" coming out in 2008, like it says above? The real reason they replaced Ken was because he had retired. By KH2, his voice was getting noticeably weaker.

@Galactic_Cyrus I've only ever seen the first 2 Little Mermaid films & i'm a big fan of KH so I guess I wasn't paying that much attention 2 the date of "Ariel's Beginning" . Though I did notice that Ken's voice was weaker in KH2 but I didn't think much of it as i'm not really a big Ken Mars fan or anything.

Kenneth Mars was always perfect at voicing King Triton. Jim Cummings, on the other hand, really surprised me when doing King Triton's voice. I really feel bad that Mr. Mars is dead, but still I'm glad someone came around and followed up on his legacy.

Kenneth Mars takes the cake easily, but Jim was a great idea for a replacement, as they have a very similar performance.

Ken Mars' voice is my favorite he sounds more fatherly and more strict
Jim Cummings although he is my # 2 favorite voice actor it sounds like he is using a modified version of his Pete voice

@MatthewC17 Cummings is using a psuedo-British/modified version of Pete's voice

@MatthewC17 Actually that's his normal voice.

What's interesting here is that Kenneth Mars is using what is probably closest to his real voice. In most of the live action movies that I've seen him in ("The Producers", "Young Frankenstein", "What's Up Doc?") he plays slightly crazy guys with accents.
