Voice Compare » King of the Hill » John Redcorn

Comparision of the voice over actors who have been the voice of John Redcorn with sound clips and images.
John Redcorn is a Native American new age healer who was Nancy Gribble's masseur and former love of 14 years. He is also the biological father of Joseph Gribble. John Redcorn was originally voiced by Victor Aaron for the first few episodes of season 1 of King of the Hill. When Victor was killed in a road accident the role was then voiced by Jonathan Joss for the rest of the series.

Victor Aaron was pretty good for the short amount of time he voiced the character. I do however prefer Jonathan Joss's voice more. Jonathan Joss's voice is more unique IMO and was great for scenes that were both serious and funny. Victor Aaron's voice which I also like, wasn't too memorable and IMO was basically a stereotypical Native American voice.

I think Victor may have been using his normal voice.

That pic is actually Wes Studi another great voice. Jonathan is the better choice for Redcorn, sorry the series had to end. Keep plugging away Jon, I live vicariously through you my Indian Pals! Tanya MorningStar

The pic you have for Victor is actually Michael Greyeyes, Victor would have been to the right, but is out of the frame.

The only actual pic I could find (easily) online of victor aaron was this small, rather fuzzy one...

Jonathan Joss has the ability to to sound very funny. Vic Aaron was good too, but he didn't have a very comedic side to him.
