Voice Compare » Kenichi: The Mightiest Disciple » Young Kenichi Shirahama

Comparision of the voice over actors who have been the voice of Young Kenichi Shirahama with sound clips and images.
Kenichi Shirahama; the protagonist of this series, gets a Voice Compare for his younger self.

In episode 15 of the English dub he was voiced by Josh Grelle in a flashback (Grelle also voices the present day version of the character).

For flashbacks such as in episode 40 Young Kenichi Shirahama is voiced by Leah Clark in the English dub.

EDITOR'S OPINION

Most male voice actors usually can't voice young boy characters and be convincing or believable, but I think Josh Grelle did rather well. Leah Clark is also fitting although the voice is a bit too "girly" sounding for my personal liking.

I'm comfortable with both voices but I slightly prefer Josh Grelle's voice a bit more.

Both of them are annoying but I think Josh is a bit better, Leah sounds like Tidus in Kingdom Hearts
