Valmont was born in the United Kingdom and is the founder and leader of the Dark Hand. He is a skillful criminal strategist and martial arts fighter who is able to hold his own against (and even get the better of) Jackie in their personal confrontations.
Valmont was originally a prominent character in the first few seasons of the show but over time was reduced to small non-speaking cameo appearances for comic relief (season 5).
Valmont had three different voice actors. For season 1 and 2 Valmont was voiced by Julian Sands. For season 3 he was voiced by Andrew Ableson. For season 4 he was voiced by Greg Ellis.

I personally think Julian Sands is the best of the group. Andrew Ableson and Greg Ellis did good work too but are basically imitations of the voice Julian Sands used.Jackson_H
