Don Cheadle gets my vote, but I also really like Nolan North, James C. Mathis III, LeVar Burton & Bumper Robinson as well.

Also does James Avery's clip cut out for anyone else?

@Music Meister Yeah, it does for me too. For some reason Wayne Ward's does the same thing.

@Silence same for me.
A couple clips do that for me, a couple in the Doctor Doom compare too

Dorian Harewood, James Avery, Nolan North, and James C Mathis III are my favorites. Each gave a deep and powerful vocie that you would expect from a guy with machine guns on his body.
The others are a bit too light

Nice change of pace from Black Panther but sticking with Avery.

I'm going with Bumper Robinson. Everyone else did great too.

Dorian Harewood: I'm surprised, he pulls off a really good performance.
James Avery: Did pretty good as well.
Wayne Ward: for what the Capcom games gave him, he did well.
Daniel Bacon: meh... nothing special.
Nolan North: Very well done.
LeVar Burton: A good performance, but it would be cool to see him do a serious War Machine.
Don Cheadle: I know he did play him in the movie, but like he did in the movie, Don gives a good effort and a good performance.
Bumper Robinson: My personal favorite War Machine, though I have to say what everyone else has said: This was a tough Voice Compare to vote on as the vast majority gave great performances as War Machine!

My top picks are Dorian, James Avery and Bumper. But I think James Avery edges the other two out just slightly.

That being said since Bumper will be voicing Falcon in Avengers Assemble. I think Phil LaMarr should be the next voice of War Machine.

@Autovolt 1. What makes you think Bumper won't reprise it since he's a main cast member? 2. Phil already voiced him for some additional dialogue in the Iron Man 2 game. See the 4th comment from the bottom.

@pete Lots of shows do something similar. Phil LaMarr is a reacurring cast member in Young Justice, yet they got KMR to do Jon Stewart simply because they wanted someone different. And even though Phil has done him once, it would be cool to hear him do it in something more high profile.

Levar needs to do a serious version and why does he look like Samuel L. Jackson there?

@pete I think the better question is "why SHOULDN'T he look like Samuel L. Jackson?" ;)

@Torak Avengers EMH fanboys. For the ongest time Avery was leading. Darn shame.

@TheVengeanceKnight Here's the thing. James Rhodes is a veteran and he's supposed to sound like he's been in combat and Jame Avery did that best with Dorian Harewood, Nolan North, and Don Cheadle close behind. I personally think Bumper sounds too young for the role but he could improve if he had more to work with as could Daniel Bacon and Levar Burton.
Replysaid at 6:15 PM on Sun Nov 25 2012
@pete You mean if the execs at Marvel weren't assholes and didn't cancel AEMH. :-P
Replysaid at 10:28 PM on Sun Nov 25 2012
@TheVengeanceKnight Yeah pretty much though I think he was good in the "New Avengers" episode. In his debut he barely had any lines in the suit and had more lines out of it prior to that.

@pete
No offense, but it depends on the war EMH Rhodey served. If we're talking about the Vietnam War or something like that or even the Gulf War, then yeah, he'd sound too young. If, like the live-action Rhodey, we're talking about the War on Terror, then he's fine.

@Anicomicgeek And it basically is the war on terror, maybe not Al Quida, but HYDRA, AIM, and Latveria count right?

James Avery. I remember that episode. His deeper voice & attitude work best.
Replysaid at 12:53 AM on Thu Apr 12 2012
I know this might sound weird, but I'm actually gonna have to vote for Wayne Ward. The only reason being that I've played the crossover fighting games and I still can't get enough of War Machine's quotes in both MvC1 and MvC2.

I love how James Avery, Nolan North, and Don Cheadle are tied for first place (as of me writing this). Reminds me of the Captain Atom VC. XD
I went with Nolan North though.

I agree with solidejake. Nolan North rarely shows his range, but man he really played a convincing African-American and gets my vote.

Nolan North! I just don't understand how that's him! Don't take this the wrong way, but he sounds the blackest out of everyone here, and he's white.
