Comparision of the voice over actors who have been the voice of Toadwart with sound clips and images.
Toadwart is one of the antagonists of Disney's Gummi Bears TV series. Toadwart (or as he is known as Toadie, in reference to his personality) is one of the Ogres and is the right hand Ogre whom serves the Gummi Bears' main foe Duke Igthorn. Toadwart is Igthorn's loyal servant whom frequently gets abused in all sorts of comical ways but despite how he is treated he is loyal to Duke Igthorn in which he is one of the smarter Ogres in the show (though that is not saying much). Toadwart is also known as the smallest ogre in the show though that actually can be a bit of an advantage for him against the Gummi Bears since he is about their size (in which the Gummi Bears are known for using the other Ogre's large size against them).

Today on the Gummi Bears VC section we take a look at Duke Igthorn's right hand Ogre... TOADWART! Lets begin shall we?

Bill Scott- The late great Bill Scott did a very suitable voice for the role as his high nasally voice suited the role rather well. As for Bill's performance I can also say the same thing as he plays the role of Duke Igthorn's lovable cowardly sidekick rather well.

Corey Burton- This along with his work as Gruffi Gummi in the show are excellent examples on how Corey can be quite the great Vocal Mimic as his Toadwart sounds very much Bill's did and his performance was also very suiting for the role as well.

Overall both of these guys did very well with the role as both of these guys did some pretty classic work for this role.

Both actors do a great job at giving Toadie as sniveling voice suiting for his sycophantic servant persona. Overall I do like Corey Burton more because his take sounds a bit more natural as well as the fact that he ended up being give a lot more material to work with over the coarse of the show.

I wonder if Jeff Bennett would make a good Toadwart?

I'm the one who requested this voice compare and I don't know who to choose. I think Bill is slightly better.

Corey Burton's version reminds me of Droopy.

Naturally I'd vote for Andrzej Arciszewski (his Polish actor, who's voice was practically MADE for animation), but I'm going for Bill here as he does very well in the role, too.
