Scott probably could have been good if given better writing but Crispin and Mike ar still my favorites with Jason being my second. The rest I thought were just okay at best

Isn't the TTG version technically a parody?

@TheVengeanceKnight Not by the definition this site uses, because it's an official appearance of the character, merely placed in a comedic context. It's only considered a parody if it's unlicensed and/or not done by the original company/creators (e.g. Family Guy or Robot Chicken).

@TheVengeanceKnight By that Logic Super Hero Squad and Batman The Brave And The Bold are parodies that shouldn't be included in the compares.

@pete batman TBATB was made by DC and SHSS was made by Marvel

I kinda wish they god Mike back for the series, but for the joke they were trying to convey, Scott works. BTW, is Mike even voice acting anymore?

@VctrBnsn If it was a joke of the week maybe Mike will voice him when the other Titans East appear. If not they either aren't bothering with him, he's not bothering, or he's retired. Haven't heard him after TT and JLU so I'll safely assume that's the case. Kinda wondered since I was half expecting him back myself.

Scott did decent for the material he had. He did a pretty good job of capturing how he and Robin are alike and did try to differ from his Robin voice a bit. If he had done him in a true continuation of the series he'd be a decent replacement for Mike Irwin. H

@pete I'm sorry but I would have to disagree... Robin and Speedy sounded so similar... granted, Scott did his best but... I could tell he did the voice. It just screams Robin for me. Hopefully, I'll see the full episode on Tuesday to get a good idea of how the performance really is. But as for right now, it's ehh for me. You're right, he did his best but... it just kinda detracts for me...

@Lurker By decent I mean not the worst casting choice nor is it the best and it would an alright decision with me if they had Scott fill in for Mike at the last minute in a true continuation.

@Lurker
"Robin and Speedy sounded so similar"
THAT'S THE JOOOOOOOOOKE

@CatsTuxedo You do realize it was just updated recently as in a few hours ago not really giving much users time to post their opinion right?

@pete Could an admin or mod remove the misdirected comment, the one below it, and this one when they see it?

@pete I was simply poking fun at the fact that he believes everybody on the planet automatically shares or will share his feelings on the matter.
Besides, the clip lacks context, so of course the humor of the scenario would be diluted. Though having actually watched the episode, I personally found it somewhat amusing rather than "laugh-out-loud" funny. Then again, I don't laugh all that easily in general.

@CatsTuxedo I guess that you were posting while I was and I meant to say that to him. Could you do me a favor and clear up this comment mess.

Mike Erwin worked more for a Speedy that worked as a sidekick to Green Arrow while Crispin Freeman works more for the Red Arrow.

@coolgeek176 After thinking about it i'm changing my vote to Crispin.

LOL, now that Crispin Freeman's actually gotten to voice Speedy, I'll be able to do this compare fairly. :-P
If this was a Red Arrow VC, Crispin would easily get my vote. But it isn't, and I thought Mike Erwin was better as Speedy, so I'm sticking with him.

Now the real Speedy (spoiler alert!) wants to be called "arsenal".

With recent events, I find it hilarious that Crispin Freeman is leading even though he technically has never voiced Speedy (yet). =P

@TheVengeanceKnight Speedy and Red Arrow are technically the same character, YJ just didn't use the former superhero identity for very long (it was only for the very first couple of episodes, I believe).
Replysaid at 6:42 PM on Thu Aug 23 2012
@pokemastanumba1 Even then, he's technically not the real Speedy; he's a Cadmus grown clone. ;-P

@pokemastanumba1 Did I spoil something for you? Sorry. :-(
Replysaid at 2:32 PM on Fri Aug 24 2012
@TheVengeanceKnight LOL, don't worry about it, I'll finish watching at least the first season of YJ pretty soon. :P

My pick for Speedy has to be Crispin Freeman, with other picks being Jason Marsden and Mike Erwin.
Replysaid at 2:03 AM on Sun Feb 12 2012
I really liked Crispin Freeman as Speedy, though Jason Marsden and Mike Erwin are good, too.

@Anicomicgeek
I know TTG is more comedy-based and decided to push the similarities between Robin and Speedy further, but them literally having the same voice is just ridiculous.

Mike Erwin is the best as Speedy the sidekick, and Crispin Freeman is the best as Speedy the independent agent/Red Arrow.

Crispin did such a badass version of Speedy that I want to see a spinoff with Speedy.
Mike comes in second and Jason in third

After seeing Crispin Freeman voice Speedy. I would take serious Speedy over serious Robin anytime.

Oppps, I see that now. Sorry misread the voice actors, cool comparisons though I will go with Mike because he sounds awesome

yah, it was a cool little scene with him and Green Arrow. A little hero sidekick bantering. But same voice from Teen Titans, so I didn't add him.

Wasn't Speedy in an episode of Justice League Unlimilted? I think his voice actor was Mike Erwin. Even though he did have a short scene. It was still cool to see him.

Even though he sounds very similar to Richie from Static Shock I like Jason Marsden the most.
btw I found a guy on youtube with every single episode of the 60s Aquaman show. Still trying to find Speedy but once i find him I'll send the clip your way.
