Franchise: Flash

Weather Wizard is one of the foes of the Flash whose comic book debut was in The Flash #110 back in December of 1959. Weather Wizard's real name is Mark Mardon whom is a criminal whom escaped from prison and managed to find a "Weather Wand" that he can use to alter the weather in which he uses it to commit crimes. The Weather Wizard is mainly known for being a member of the Rogues (the Super Villain organization in Central City) he has also been involved with the Secret Society of Super Villains which is one of the various Super Villain groups against the Justice League. While the Weather Wizard was originally relying on a special device namely a "Weather Wand" to commit his crimes like many of Flash's other foes but recently he is able to have weather based super powers and no longer relies on any certain gadget for his Weather Manipulation.

Today on the Flash VC section we take a look at another member of the Rogues... WEATHER WIZARD! Lets begin shall we?

Miguel Ferrer- A rather above average example of Miguel's work as his moderately low voice for the role does suit how Weather Wizard was depicted in this show. Weather Wizard was an extortionist before he became a Super Villain and Miguel does a pretty good job playing that aspect up. I mean sure its not one of his better villainous performances but its a decent one anyways.

Corey Burton- In Justice League Corey does an alright attempt at trying to sound like Miguel but its only an okay example of Corey's vocal mimicry skills. While in the Batman Brave and the Bold Game while it did seem a little strange at first on how flamboyant his voice for the role was but his voice and performance felt more energetic and distinct.

Robin Atkin Downes- Robin's work on the role was definitely suiting for the more comedic depiction of Weather Wizard in the show. Robin's voice and performance for the role definitely suited on how the Weather Wizard is seen as a closet Flash Fanboy with violent tendencies but I can actually also picture Robin in a more serious depiction of the role as well.

Brandon Young- Decent but rather generic, but to be fair its also due to how Weather Wizard only got a few lines and would probably have done better with more and I have heard worst in that game so I can at least say that much.

Overall I am actually going with Robin the most with Miguel at a close second with Corey at a good third and Brandon at a decent last place.

VC thoughts update

I really like Robin Atkin Downes the most. I really get a crack out of his take, and I can tell he's having tons of fun in the role.

Corey Burton sounds really awesome in the role as well. I actually like both of his takes.

Rick D. Wasserman sounds really good in the role, but I would have preferred it if he had better material to work with.

As much as I love some of the late Miguel Ferrer's work, his Weather Wizard is just serviceable IMO.

Brandon Young is meh.

Rick's normal voice for Weather Wizard is fine just generic, what's funny is that his voice while possessed by Trigon would have made a better Trigon than Trigon's actual voice.

@Music Meister Rick as Trigon would be perfect casting.

While he's not here, I did like Rick D. Wasserman's performance in Justice League vs. Teen Titans, too.

Gonna give this one to Miguel Ferrer. Weather Wizard--and the rest of the Rogues for that matter--are thugs and Miguel Ferrer's performace really suited that.

Robin's (should be anyway) the clear winner.

Ferrer is alright but not the most rememberable performance or voice.

Burton does an alright impression of Ferrer but not the best. His impression of Robin (if he is trying to impersonate him) is really bad, it's so flamboyant.

I can't hear any of Brandon's dialog so I can't judge.
