Comparision of the voice over actors who have been the voice of Dory with sound clips and images.
Dory is a Paracanthurus hepatus who witnesses the boat that Nemo was taken away in and accompanies Marlin in his attempt to take Nemo back. While optimistic, she suffers from anterograde amnesia, which supposedly runs in her family. Despite her condition, she is able to read human and thus is able to decipher Nemo's location on a dropped pair of diving goggles. The address proves to be the first piece of information that Dory is capable of remembering, making her a valuable asset to Marlin's journey.

Although I'd like to vote for Hale, the problem is that she was hired to do an impression, so that being said, I will give it to the original.
