Princess Anelle is the only child of Skrull Emperor Dorrek VIII and Empress R'Klll whom is the heir of the Skrull Empire and she has made her Comic Book debut in Fantastic Four #37 in April of 1965. Unlike how the Skrull race is normally depicted as vicious warmongers, Anelle is often depicted as a kind woman whom was against her father's aggressive and had a strong preference for peace. Princess Anelle's love life was never really successful as she have had relationships with those such as Skrull Warlord Morrat and Kree Captain Marvel (neither one ended well for different reasons) that and she has rejected Super Skrull's love wanting nothing to do with him. Princess Anelle is normally not a combatant but she does have the ability to shape-shift

EDITOR'S OPINION

Today on the Fantastic Four VC section we have a little something for this little lady from the Skrull empire... PRINCESS ANELLE! We shall begin with the 90's Fantastic Four series in which she was in one episode and was voiced by the late great Mary Kay Bergman. Mary played the role of Anelle as a bit more sympathetic role of a young woman whom is apparently realizing her questionable taste in men. Anyways Mary's performance for the role was suitably dramatic for the role and it felt pretty natural right from the start. So basically Mary's work as Anelle was a good example of her work and of the voice work in the show.

In Super Hero Squad Show, Anelle appeared for a few episodes in the 2nd season was voiced by Tara Strong. Tara plays the role of Princess Anelle a bit differently as she does sound stronger, even a little sinister at first (but this doesn't last). Oh yes and I must say that Tara's voice for the role was not only rather suiting for the role but rather lovely as well if I may add. Anyways Tara's work as Princess Anelle is a pretty good example of her work in general but it is a fine example of the show's voice work though. Overall I am not entirely sure who to go with here as both of these ladies did well in their own way.
