EDITOR'S OPINIONToday on the Dead or Alive VC section we take a look at Tina's over-protective father... BASS ARMSTRONG! Lets begin shall we?
Terry McGovern- Well Terry does do a fine job in playing Bass as a aging southern pro-wrestler as his performance does have a good sense of energy in that regard. However Terry's performance in Bass' more serious moments in that game are alright but I do belive his performance is at his best when he is playing Bass as a hot-blooded old wrestler well and is one of the better examples of the voice work in that game.
Joe J Thomas- Joe's rather gruff southern-accented voice suits the role rather well and while unlike the other tguys here Joe gives a somewhat more somber performance but does still fit Bass' competitive nature rather well. But while Joe does a good job in playing Bass as an aging Pro wrestler who is still up for a good fight his performance as Tina's over-protective father is also pretty solid as well and is a good example of the voice work in that game.
Patrick Seitz- Patrick's voice for the role is a bit of a mixed bag as while it is suitably deep and gruff but his attempt at the accent is a bit too light and he doesn't sound quite old enough for the role yet. However Patrick's performance more than makes up for it as he does a fine job in playing Bass as a Hot-Blooded Wrestler and his work as Tina's over-protective father is pretty good too. So in other words while Patrick's voice for the role could use a bit more polish but his performance is still a good example of the voice work in the game.
Overall all of these guys did well in their own way so I am not sure who to pick here to be honest...
