Darkstalkers - Felicia

Ah Felicia, not only is she quite possibly the most borderline nudist buxom beauty in her genre she is of course the patron saint of the fetish that is the catgirl. So lets see how this Darkstalkers Fan Favorite fare for the Voice Compare.

First of all is Lisa Ann Beley in the American Darkstalkers series, and while as we all know lets just say her depiction in the American show definitely had its problems to put it mildly but her voice work wasn't one of them. In fact I would actually say that Lisa's voice work for Felicia was probably one of the better performances in the show.

Next up we have Janyse Jaud who voiced Felicia in the English dub for the Darkstalkers anime. Janyse Jaud is definitely no strange to lets just say voicing a "Ms. Fanservice" role, though this is one of the few times she gets a role like this in which one of her occasionally used higher voices is necessary. While I admit I would picture Janyse Jaud in the role of Morrigan Aensland a bit more she definitely works well as Felicia too.

While when it comes to how they depict Felicia in general the Anime is obviously the winner here. But as for voice work to be honest I am actually not sure as both definitely do work.

(Update: Melissa Fahn voiced her in Cross Edge and she was a fine choice as well for the role too, so nothing has changed really.)
