Voice Compare » Daredevil » Daredevil
Comparision of the voice over actors who have been the voice of Daredevil with sound clips and images.
Daredevil is a Marvel Comics Superhero whom has been in the comics since the first issue of his own series that came out in April of 1964. While there are some lesser known alternate versions of Daredevil, the initial and main alter ego of Daredevil is that of young attorney Matt Murdock. Daredevil is not only a strong and skilled martial artist and acrobat but also has Super senses to compensate for the fact that he was blinded during his childhood when radioactive waste was dumped into his eyes. While Daredevil is established as the main character of his own story he has aided other Marvel Super Heroes that are in New York such as the Fantastic Four and especially Spider Man, the latter is generally when Spider Man is framed for a crime (which happens fairly frequently).

EDITOR'S OPINION
Today on the Marvel Universe VC we have a little something for the Man Without Fear... DAREDEVIL! Since this is a fairly large VC I shall just simply say that all of these guys did pretty well with the role here. Seriously none of them seem to be bad for the role at all. Sure Bill played Daredevil as someone with a bit more of a sense of humor while David made Daredevil sound a bit cocky which might seem strange since the other performances were more stoic but to be honest I wasn't bothered since these guys made their respective performances worked as well. So Overall I am just simply not sure who to go with this time...Pokejedservo

I normally hear Brian Drummond as DD but of the people who have played him I have to pick
1. Cam Clarke
2. Dee Bradley Baker
3. Edward Albert
4. Brian Bloom
5. David Kaye

They're all pretty good (even Bill Smitrovich, though in his defense, his Daredevil was more the original Spider-Man-lite version, not the Frank Miller and beyond one), but I'm gonna go with the majority and give this one to Cam Clarke.

In general none are standouts, Daredevil should (IMO) have a heavier, raspier and tormented tone to his voice but I'm gonna go with Edward.

@AWIG I always imagine Bruce Greenwood's Batman voice as Daredevil's whenever I read.

@AWIG I agree with you, DD should have a voice that reflects a dark past. Kinda like a Batman voice

I agree that they all do good bbut maybe Bill is the excpetion but that's only because I don't think Daredevil should have that much sense of humor. I do always image Daredevil will a more raspier voice but none really do one so I'm a little dispointed. In all I'm still undecided on who was better
