Wotan is a Magical Super Villain from DC Comics whom made his Comic Book debut in More Fun Comics #55. While Wotan was originally encountered Green Lantern he is the arch-nemesis of Dr. Fate (and a foe to the Justice League). Wotan is a Sorcerer whom has all sorts of magical powers such as using powerful bolts of energy, fly, travel to dimensions and more. Wotan has lived for centuries in which not only is he very knowledgeable in magic but also in science as well as he has created various technological wonders that have surpassed 20th Century Earth technology.

EDITOR'S OPINION

Today on the DC Universe we have a VC for Dr. Fate's Arch-Nemesis... WOTAN! We will begin with Batman Brave and the Bold in which James Arnold Taylor voiced Wotan. In retrospection James' voice for Wotan does kind of sound like an evil version of his Obi-Wan Kenobi voice (not complaining mind you its just an observation) but still James voice and performance for the role have a haughty and regal tone that does suit an evil mage such as Wotan rather well. So in other words its a pretty good example of JAT's work and of the voice work in the show.

In Young Justice, Wotan had a speaking role for one episode voiced by Bruce Greenwood. Bruce's voice for the role does suit an old evil mage such as Wotan fairly well (and I even kind of like on how Bruce's voice for the role did have a bit more of a European accent). Bruce did also have a fairly energetic performance as his performance does suit Wotan's arrogant nature fairly well and is an interesting example of the voice work in Young Justice. Overall I am going with a tie as both of these guys did pretty well with this role here.
