Shadow Thief

Comparision of the voice over actors who have been the voice of Shadow Thief with sound clips and images.

Shadow Thief is a DC Comics Super-villain whose comic book debut was in The Brave and the Bold #36 in July of 1961. Shadow Thief has had more than one alter ego over the years but his original one is Carl Sands and he is known as a recurring for for Hawkman and Hawkgirl (though he does have a bit of history with Batman as well). Shadow Thief has the power to make himself tangible and intangible and can slip through anywhere when he becomes a shadow (though whether if he is a normal guy using a special device or a magical demonic creature differs on the story though the former is more common). Shadow Thief has joined forces with the likes of the Injustice League and the Secret Society of Super Villains and he usually uses his shadowy abilities just to commit crimes by stealing valuables.

EDITOR'S OPINION

Today on the DC Universe VC section we take a look at one of Hawkman's foes... SHADOW THIEF! Let us begin...

James Remar- I was quite impressed by this as James' voice and performance for the role was quite a natural fit. James' performance felt rather sinister and sadistic and even slightly demonic which worked for this take on the role rather well and is a fine example of James' work.

Diedrich Bader- Diedrich's voice for the role was okay (even though it was a bit inconsistent though). But to be fair Diedrich's performance was pretty good as a criminal who is rather smug due to the special equipment he is using for his shadowy abilities so it is a decent example of Diedrich's work.

Overall neither are bad but I am clearly going with James here.
