Adam Strange is a DC Comics superhero who first appears in Showcase #17 (November 1958). Adam Strange was an archaeologist who, while during an archaeological dig, was inexplicably transported trillions of miles away to the planet Rann by a Zeta Beam. There he meets Sardath, who explains that the Zeta Beam were originally a communications tool, but wound up being a teleportation device. While on Rann, he grew to care for the inhabitants of the planet, and soon became the champion of Rann, using Rann's technology to fight off alien invasions and wild monsters. He also fell in love with Sardath's daughter, Alanna, whom he would soon marry. Eventually the beam's radiation would wear off and Strange would return back to Earth at the exact same spot he left. Strange was able to return to Rann by calculating when and where the next Zeta beam would hit and intercepting the location. While not a popular character of the DC Universe, Adam Strange has remained a constant presence. Adam Strange is a scientific genius and a brilliant strategist. He wears a Rannian jetpack spacesuit capable of flight and interstellar travel and carries ray guns for protection.

EDITOR'S OPINION
I think both actors did great in the role of Adam Strange. Michael T. Weiss voices Strange as your typical, heroic, cookie-cutter superhero from the Golden Age of Comics, complete with cheesy dialogue. Michael Trucco plays him more as an eccentric, adorkable (yeah, yeah, TVtropes) scientist with a voice of loyalty and a resigned wit to the situation. Both actors were great in their own way.UltimateCharm

I find it funny how both voice actors are named Michael, and they actually guest-starred in the very same episode of YJ! But yeah, out of these two, Trucco gets my vote.

Yeah, it kinda reminds me of the one Sgt. Rock VC where both guys there also shared the same first name.XD
