Here's how I rank these voices:

5. Nolan North - He sounds like just a normal Australian guy. Doesn't have that spark that the character has.

4. Chip Chinery - A pretty cheap imitation of William Hootkins. He gets the voice right but it's too forced and gruff for my liking.

3. Dwight Schultz - A decent impression though it's rather high and lacking any sort of threatening tone. Plus I find him a bit annoying in Crash Nitro Kart.

2. Fred Tatasciore - A worthy successor to William. While its a little deep he still nails the accent and the gruff tone of the character. One of the best voices in the N. Sane trilogy.

1. William Hootkins - He was the original and the best. A perfect combination of the Australian accent, a gravelly and threatning tone with a bit of humour. He practically WAS Dingodile!

Being familiar with him for years, I know Fred's voice but like I said his range does very and does not just revolve around the deep-hulking character voices.

It's like with Kevin Michael Richardson, Scott McNeil, Jim Cummings, Frank Welker or Nolan North, you recognize the actor but he's expanding his range for each varying performance.

Fred is just plain awesome in this role. If I didn't know it was him, I never would've recognized his voice here. An excellent showing of his range and a great voice for Dingodile.

1. William Hootkins - He does the best accent and performance IMO.

2. Fred Tatasciore - A surprising dead-on impression of Hootkins!

3. Dwight Schultz - The accent is a tad inconsistent, but otherwise it's a nice performance.

4. Nolan North/Chip Chinery - I think they're both okay, but nothing special IMO.

Fred Tatasciore is very good. You can't even tell it's him. I like that.

He didn't go for an impression, it actually sounds like a completely original voice. It's also a testament to his vast range.

Just heard Dingodile's Time Twister cutscene from the N Sane Trilogy.

I still have a hard time believing that's Fred, not gonna lie. He did a great job blending into the character.

@HyperVoiceActing Fred's got range, there's no denying it.

So I've heard that Fred Tatasciore will be voicing Dingodile in the N. Sane Trilogy. Kinda an odd choice, IMO, but I'm interested in hearing the results.

Chip's pretty good, but there's something about his voice that seems off with me. Maybe it's the deepness of his voice or how gruff it is, IDK.

Porkins all the way.

Dwight's a good second, but it's really inconsistent.

Nolan's decent.

Don't really care for Chip's.

1.William Hootkins is the best Dingodile. Has the best accent of all the performances and sounds relatively threatening.

2. Dwight Schultz. Has a great energetic performance but the accent is a bit inconsistent.

3. Nolan North. Has the better accent than Schultz but he doesn't sound as energetic. But I'd argue and say that this is one of his more decent performances in the Crash Bandicoot series compared to Tiny Tiger in the same game.

4. Chip Chinery. As much as I was able to make out of his performance, it doesn't sound great at all.

Anyone else think John Patrick Lowrie would make an excellent Dingodile voice?

William Hootkins with Dwight Schultz a close second.

1. William Hootkins, sounded authentic

2. Chip Chinery, was good.

3. Dwight Schultz, sounded odd to me and made Dingodile sound stupider

4. Nolan North, just sounded wrong.

William is the best and always will be.

Dwight is too squeaky while Nolan sounds kinda flat.

I can hardly understand what Chip is saying.

As an Australian myself, I'm judging this comparison based on accent alone.

# 1 - William Hootkins: If it weren't for Hootkins, Dingodile wouldn't be memorable. He pretty much nailed the accent.

# 2 - Dwight Schultz: Schultz is very good, although the accent sounds more Cockney than Australian.

# 3: Nolan North - North is also pretty good, although the accent slips into more New Zealand territory on occasion. I rank North lower than Schultz for having a less energetic performance.

# 4: Chip Chinery - All the voices in Crash Team Racing are completely overpowered by the sound effects & Chinery is no different. On top of that, I feel as though he only put in minimal effort.

Surprised that Schultz' Twinsanity voice isn't on instead of Nitro Kart, it's by far his best voice that's still alive, though Hootkins is still the overall best imo.

I respect Dwight Schultz' portrail the most, he's always been amazing.

But as always, the original is always best, so Hootkins.

Hootkins, easily. His performance was the easiest for me to listen to.

#1 William Hootkins
It's a pretty close call between the three, but as it (usually) goes, you just can't beat the classics. And William's performance certainly lives up to that old testament. He sounded truly evil and serious like any minion of Cortex should be.

#2 Dwight Schultz
He's a fine replacement for William. While it doesn't quite suit one of the major villains of the series, Dwight was pretty amusing to listen to and had a good sense of humor.

#3 Chip Chinery
Without much to go on, I can't really say anything about it here. Next.
