Castlevania Castlevania

Voice Compare » Castlevania » Vincent Dorin

Comparision of the voice over actors who have been the voice of Vincent Dorin with sound clips and images.
Vincent Dorin is one of the secondary characters in the Castlevania series whom first appeared in the Nintendo DS game Castlevania Portrait of Ruin. Vincent is a priest whom had a somewhat minor role in both of the games he was in. In Castlevania Portrait of Ruin, Vincent was basically the "Shopkeeper" of the game while in Castlevania Lord of Shadows he is an old abbot whom tries to prevent anyone from getting a powerful artifact. While Vincent's personality does differ depending on which game we are talking about but he is a man of God whom does show a bit of Greed lets just say.

Today on the Castlevania VC section here we have this priest here whom may or may not be an aid to heroes is... VINCENT DORIN! We shall begin with Castlevania Portrait of Ruin in which Vincent was voiced by Tony Oliver. Tony's voice and performance for the role was suiting as it does a fit a somewhat old priest whom despite being a bit eager to make some money is actually a fairly decent guy. Tony's performance as Vincent is a pretty good example of his work and a fine example of the voice work in Portrait of Ruin.

In Castlevania Lords of Shadow has a somewhat different take on Vincent Dorin whom was voiced by Adrian Schiller. In this game Vincent is still a greedy priest but that greed is a lot more apparent as Vincent is a paranoid old man whom wants to keep a powerful relic to himself. Adrian's voice the role does suit a maniacally paranoid old man well as his performance does have a good sense of insanity that is suitably dramatic yet not too overdone. Adrian's overall work as Vincent is certainly not bad as it is a pretty good example of Lords of Shadow's voice work. Overall while both of these guys did their versions of the role well I suppose I will go with Tony Oliver a bit more here.
