Berserk - Zodd

Zodd the Immortal, Nosferatu Zodd whichever you call him he is easily one of the bloodiest of the blood knights out there. In the year 2000 Eidos the folks behind the Tomb Raider series surprisingly gave the Berserk game for the Dreamcast an English release. (Considering that it came 2 years before the English dub of the Anime did.) In the game he is voiced by fairly well known VA Peter Lurie whom did seem like a pretty good choice for this role. (Though surprisingly it wasn't as deep as I thought it would be but his Zodd voice did have a nice beastly tone.) Its been said that Eidos mistakenly thought that Zodd and Griffith are the same person but to me its rather uncertain. (Especially since Gutts did address Zodd by his actual name among other things. If anything it seems to be fairly inconsistent... ) In the English dub of the Anime, Zodd is voiced by the somewhat well known VA J. David Brimmer (well known for New York Voice Actors that is). And Brimmer's handiwork as Zodd was by all means another good example of the quality voicework in the Berserk English dub. J. David Brimmer's work for Zodd was low, very beastly with a slight touch of class. Neither one of them are bad but like Gutts I am certainly going for the Anime dub this time as well.
