Voice Compare » Batman » Robin / Tim Drake
Comparision of the voice over actors who have been the voice of Robin / Tim Drake with sound clips and images.
Tim Drake is the third person to take on the identity of Robin following Dick Grayson and Jason Todd. Before taking up the mantle, Tim actually deduced the real identities of Batman and Robin, having seen Dick Grayson perform at Haley's Circus with the Flying Graysons and matching his acrobatics with Robin. And just like Dick, Tim also became an orphan following the passing of his parents.
Tim was trained by Batman and sent around the world to be trained by masters, including in multiple forms of martial arts. His weapon of choice is the staff.

Matthew Valencia was the best young Tim, and Troy a great adult Tim, But I've got to hand this one to Cameron. He's really great at that whole young, inexperienced hero voice.

I think it's important to point out that the LEGO Batman 2 Robin is Dick Grayson, as when the player is in the Batcave, they play Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson.

I like Charlie's take, it sounded young yet I could still take it seriously (for the few serious scenes) plus he was fun to listen to.

Wil Wheaton sounds kinda like Zachary Levi (Flynn Rider)

Went with Cameron, his take is fantastic. A nice balance of young Robin and Tim's distinct style.

Cameron Bowen
It helps that YJ has the ACTUAL Tim Drake as opposed to Jason with Tim's name in the DCAU and a completely different version of Tim from AC.

@D.A.V.E. I don't know about AC Tim being completely different. True, there's the suggestion made the crew of the game that he might partake in cage fights in his spare time, but there's nothing in the game itself to actually confirm that or contradict Tim's canon personality a whole lot. Like I said earlier, he does seem more like late in his Robin career/Red Robin Tim.

@D.A.V.E. DCAU version of Tim ticked me off that was given Jason's attitude. Glad to have him in YJ :)

@D.A.V.E.
I'd rather take them over the non-character that is YJ Tim.

@TheVengeanceKnight
To be fair, none of them had a lot of character either.
The one Robins that have ever been benefited in animation are Dick and Carrie. Jason is lucky he had "Under the Red Hood", Tim is either Jason-lite or a non-character, and Damian's personality was completely off in BatB.

@D.A.V.E. That doesn't make it any better.

@TheVengeanceKnight Having character =/= screentime
Just because he's not snarky or draws attention doesn't mean he has "no character". He has shown some character in his few appearances. He's very smart, withdrawn, serious, and reluctant to take leadership. He's also a bit too passive, since he kept quiet about Arsenal's mistake.
Just because he's not hugging the screentime and standing out doesn't mean he has no character. There are just other characters that are more important and need just as much attention. Tim's a lot like Kaldur, actually. But that doesn't mean he has no character.

@D.A.V.E. At least Kaldur got an episode dedicated to him. Can't say the same for Tim.

Sweet, Tim's spun-off from the Robin comparsion.XD
Sticking with Troy Baker for Tim, since he was good as mid-to-late in his career as Robin Tim/Red Robin Tim, though Cameron Bowen was pretty good, especially early in his Robin career Tim. That said, Eli Marienthal, Shane Sweet, and Mathew Valencia were good, too.

@TheVengeanceKnight Charlie Schlatter's really good too; I'd place him second after Troy.

Matthew Valencia - Best of the DCAU Tim Drake voices and close second after Cameron.
Troy Baker - Troy's always terrific, Tim's no exception.
Eli Marienthal - Good replacement for Matthew.
Shane Sweet - Just as good as Eli, but put Eli higher because he had more material.
Wil Wheaton/Johnathan Roumie - Bad by no means but forgettable I guess.
Overall everyone did good for Tim, young and old.
