Dr. Achilles Milo

Comparision of the voice over actors who have been the voice of Dr. Achilles Milo with sound clips and images.
Franchise: Batman

Dr. Achilles Milo is one of the various villains in the Batman series who made his comic book debut in Detective Comics #247 in Septmber of 1957. Achilles Milo was a renowned chemist who has turned to a life of crime (though the reasons why do vary) in which he is known for using his animal gene-splicing skills against Batman. Although one of Milo's known tactics is to try to drive Batman insane with fear and/or severe depression with his created gasses in which they normally fail miserably and backfire on him (in which he was once one of the various inmates at Arkham Asylum). While Dr. Milo is normally quite confident in his genetic splicing abilities he is normally at heart a fairly cowardly man and is usually (but not always) a henchman than a criminal mastermind.

Alright folks today on the Batman VC section we take a look at this gene-splicing mad scientist... DR. ACHILLES MILO! Let us begin shall we?

Treat Williams- Treat's somewhat nasally voice does work pretty well with the role here (though is it just me or does he kind of sound like Rob Paulsen)? Anyways Treat plays Milo as a rather slimy opportunist and does it pretty well in which its a pretty good example of the voice work in BTAS.

Armin Shimerman- Armin's voice does suit on how Milo is a nerdy disgruntled scientist in the show rather well. I also liked on how Armin's performance for the role can go from pathetic loser to slightly creepy manipulator rather well and is a fine example of Armin's work and a good example of the voice work in the show.

Dee Bradley Baker- Dee's voice for the role does certainly work for the role as Milo is a bit more of a mad scientist in this show (that and it also suits on how Milo does appear a bit older in this show as well). Anyways Dee does a suitably somewhat over the top performance as the rather arrogant mad scientist as it is a pretty good example of his work on the show.

Overall I am not too sure who to go with here as all of these guys have done well in their own way.

Anybody knows who voiced Milo in Arkham Underworld? He sounds very good.

The credits doesn't say who voiced who, but the general belief is that it's Shimerman back in the role.

VC thoughts update

Treat Williams does sound pretty intellectual, yet he also sounds pretty slimy and opportunistic. I really like his delivery.

Dee Bradley Baker also sounds pretty good in the role. He has some great energy and he really nails this particular version.

Armin Shimerman is okay, but he could have been more energetic.

I genuinely like all three of them, actually, but in different ways:

Treat Williams has an intelligent delivery to his Dr. Achilles Milo's performance, coming off as very knowledgeable, but his sadism is hidden underneath, evidenced by the end of the clip.

Dee Bradley Baker has the most unhinged, sadistic performance with his Dr. Achilles Milo's take, sounding very vengeful and delighted to be excited with his madness.

Armin Shimerman's performance has something that falls in between the other two actor's takes, and I feel he has the most well rounded take here encapsulating the character's sadistic madness but also his rather intelligent, calm demeanor on the surface, so my vote goes to him.

Armin Shimmerman is the most natural in the role, sounding very creepy and slimy. Dee Bradley Baker does a great mad scientist, and I like that his voice sounds like a crazed Tarrlok. Treat Williams is the weakest here. He's okay, but he sounds too cartoonish.

Yeah I used to think that the Batman TAS version was Rob Pauslen until I looked at the credits years later, anyway I'm going with Armin.
