Ape Escape Ape Escape

Comparision of the voice over actors who have been the voice of Professor with sound clips and images.
Franchise: Ape Escape

The Professor is the inventor of the Peak Point Helmet (among other inventions) and the grandfather of Natsumi/Natalie/Katie. He often urges people to listen to him very carefully, regardless of whether they want to or not. Ironically, he is the type to be easily distracted.

Eric Bauza as the Professor sounds like Tom Kenny's voice for the Mayor in Powerpuff Girls.

Phil Proctor... perfect selection, really nailed the intelligent role the character has.

Dan Green's good but he's pretty much the jack of all trades here.

Simon Prescott's decent, Michael Souza although a bit young has some good acting, Eric Bauza's old man voice isn't anything too special and the UVA's German accent for him is all wrong.

Phil Proctor and Dan Green are my favourites here.

I pick Phil Proctor.

Prescott sounds like Yugi's dad, ironic seeing as Dan Green also played the Professor.

1. Phil Proctor- Perfect fit, he sounds appropriately wise, aged, and intelligent in the role.
2. Simon Prescott- A good performance, but a little bit lispy here and there.
3. Dan Green- Fine performance, but like Element Riser said, he is the jack of all trades, and master of none here.
4. Michael Sousa- Sounds too young, but well acted if nothing else.
5. Eric Bauza- Senile old man voice, I guess.
6. UVA- Stereotypical German accented elderly man

 2 Shout Outs!
Phil Proctor - Sounds like a wise, stern yet loving grandfather.
Simon Prescott - Sounds more age-appropriate. He also captures the "wise" and "stern" aspects of his personality a bit better, but sounds a bit less loving. Very close second.
Dan Green - Jack of all trades.
Michael Sousa/UVA - Not bad. Michael Sousa edges out a bit.
Eric Bauza - Sounds like a stereotypical old higher-up, like PPG's Mayor.

Who else thinks that Mike Pollock would work perfectly?

I don't have much of a preference. All of them have given a solid impression of a dubious scientist who is still a caring person very well. Though if I had to choose, it would be between Dan Green, Simon Prescott, and Phil Proctor.

Phil Proctor wins for me.

Wow I think they're all pretty good in this time, but I think Simon Prescott was the most fitting overall, but I still liked them all
