As much of a downer it was to constantly be revisiting the same locations over and over, Skyward Sword is still a great game. Some of the best dungeons, music and characters in the whole series. Hard to believe it's been 6 years already.

I also want to say, I've been thinking about this a lot since the two games came out: A lot of people like to think of Breath of the Wild as the anti-Skyward Sword, but I honestly feel they are born out of the same DNA - just different approaches. The idea that "the whole world is a dungeon", challenging the player every step of the way was always one of the coolest things about Skyward in my opinion, and BOTW is basically that times a million. Not to mention Skyward is what established the whole watercolour, impressionist painting aesthetic that BOTW built upon, and I firmly believe is the PERFECT look for the series. It's such a shame the game was tied to the Wii's weak image quality, because I've seen it running in HD on Dolphin and it looks absolutely gorgeous. One of those Wii games that is screaming for a remaster. As one of its last games, Skyward Sword was a great swan song for the aging system.

Why might the Skyward Sword Cast not be in SSB4?

@CuriousUserX90 Because the Zelda characters (except Toon Link) are still their Twilight Princess incarnations in SSB4, as Ganondorf and Sheik don't have Skyward Sword designs to draw from. Therefore they use their TP voices.
