We'received finally getting an MM remake and it seems like everywhere I go it's just endless whining about the save system. I hate the Internet sometimes.

According to Nintendo the remake for this has been in development since OOT3D was finished. That means the remake has been in development longer than the original game. Combining this with the comment that it's, "not going to be another remake" you have to wonder about what they've been doing. Just in the footage we've seen you can tell that Clock Town has been slightly redesigned, so who knows what else has changed.

Hope this gets a 3ds reboot. Many fond and scary memories with this game. One of the first games I went out of my way for collectables, boy does it pay off against that final boss.

@darkersoul That would be awesome! That also could make the game even more dark and creepy.

@darkersoul It's been confirmed just 2 days ago. :D. So now none of us Majora's Mask fans have to wait!

This game was the scariest thing ever when I was a kid.

@Nightmare Crusher No kidding. This was probably the darkest Zelda game of all. The moon, the alien sidequest, the entire Ikana Canyon sequence, the three-day limit that imposes a constant feeling of dread and anxiety... shudder. Still, all those things are part of what I love about MM.

And then there's also the fandom. In two words: BEN DROWNED.

(yeah, yeah, I know, "I shouldn't have done that." :D)

@Midna Honestly I feel like a lot of creepypastas come off as cheesy. The whole "show/game you loved as a kid in the '90s was actually EVIL" thing is kind of a cliche at this point. I think I skimmed through the Ben Drowned thing once, but I can't remember much about it so I don't think it left much of an impact on me.

Really, MM is a naturally eerie and unsettling sort of game as it is, so I find all the creepypasta and crazy theory stuff surrounding it to be a bit excessive. That's just me, though.
