 1 Shout Out!
You know what?? As a person who loves this game and has playied many games with **** voiceacting.. I can say without a hesitatation that I am PROUD of Peter von gomm! He went from his wooden plank Hell if he could performance he did in the megaman games to actual legit acting! His Shirobon was actually well done! keep this quality up then I would proudly accept this voice for the white bomber in future games. Hell even smash Bros if he ever appeared

I'd never thought I'd say this but here's a Japan English dub that was actually decent, like some actors actually sound like they were having fun with the roles here.

The Japan-English talent pool is at its best when they get goofy, intentionally OTT material. Even stuff like Castlevania or Resident Evil I think the campy quality of the VO actually kind of complements the games in a way. It's stuff like Arc Rise Fantasia where the direction isn't as up to snuff.

@NCZ I recall reading an interview or two with some Japanese-English actor (Barry Gjerde, I think?) where he talked about Japanese directors typically preferring bombastic line reads. Definitely comes off better when dealing with something already goofy, that's for sure.

I was way off with Aqua, I have never heard of this woman voicing her before

If I did get a Switch I would probably stick to her, Blue or Green as they had the better voices, Black and Pink are just too grating to play as

Foiled again, it was Jeff Gedert as Blue all along! Ah well, at least I knew that Jack was Plasma from the start.

Glad to see Japan English dubs aren't dying.

I actually think he's my favourite Japan-English voice actor to be honest.

You know, the Japan-English voice pool makes me miss Barry Gjerde..

@Ghosty404 I think Barry might've retired by this point.

Bomberman's voice is weird, I might actually prefer the Jetters dubbed one better

Maybe it's just me but Aqua sounds like Helen Morrison, it's her Mana alright

@NCZ Thank you for confirming, my bet is that is going to be dubbed in Japan.

@Black Shadow Zero

Oh yeah, you and I are on the same page there. Not just the acting style and the delivery (plus the nature of a game like this), but I wanna say I heard Peter Von Gomm in there.

You're right on the ball there, I hear nothing but TvC Frank West when listening to White Bomber.

Something also tells me that Jack Merluzzi is also there as Blue Bomber, as his voice brings to mind Mr. Zero from F-Zero GX.
